We loved the attention to detail. The management and staff (and the owner) were outstanding hosts. The accommodation was just superlative and the service was fantastic. The location was relaxed ,beautiful scenery and just perfect to unwind. The views from the bedrooms and the dining rooms were just mind blowing. The wonderful relaxt Atmosphäre, the whole crew is perfekt, the safaris with ranger Ilana and Peter showed us more than we expected, the breakfast and dinner delicious. Excellent viel, owner Archie perfect Chief of the Outfit. I can go on and on, because we loved it so much.

From Port Elizabeth: - N2 to Grahamstown. - R335 to Addo Elephant Park past Markman and Motherwell. - 40km to Addo. - Turn left at R336 to Kirkwood. - After 9km, past Sunland Village, over the bridge, left at sign, onto first a tar then becoming gravel road. - After 2.2km turn left at entrance to Hitgeheim. - Follow the marked road through the reserve. - Beware of wild animals and cars coming from the front. - You will reach the lodge after 2.5km.
