A very friendly welcome; the price of a room was more expensive at reception than on letsbookhotel.com, but the receptionist gave me the wifi password so that I could book through letsbookhotel.com on my phone and save €20 on a two-night stay. The website says the 'economy' rooms do not have air conditioning, but in fact all rooms in the hotel have aircon. Good quality, comfortable rooms. Great location, on the main street. All reception staff friendly and willing to help. I was moved to a diff.

The breakfast each morning was terrific. The hotel is in the best location possible, right in the heart of Old Town Košice. Excellent room with the best hotel bed we've ever experienced. In contrast to the reception staff, the waiting staff in the restaurant were unfriendly or inattentive. The wifi signal was slightly erratic and did not reach all parts of the hotel. I found that as with any of the hotels in Slovakia, there is smoking allowed in some of the rooms and areas of the hotel. Because of this, there is that smoking odor in the hallways, but it was not BAD at this hotel by any means. It was just there, but I never smelled it in my non-smoking room. A very good gesture to pack a take-away picnic breakfast for our early morning day trip to the High Tatras. How-ever bit of improvement with portions and variety in the take-away picnic is needed. No plastic spoon to eat the yoghurt from the cup and no serviettes was included in the pack. Usage of the wellness/spa costs EUR 7,-/person and it's not included in the price of the room (despite the English language website of the Hotel). The hotel hasn't fixed that problem since the website still says that the price includes the entrance to the wellness center. No hungarian TV channels in room (despite the fact that 10 % of the Slovakia's populaton is Ethnic-Hungarian). Had to repeatedly sign into wifi. no problems. - Bathroom badly equiped. It was Easter and the restaurant was often closed. breakfast. Breakfast - small reakfast area, too hot in the restaurant, gym would be helpfull. The receptionist seemed to be bored, not very passion about the job.They are not able to charge a minibar in the total invoice.Very small roim with only a roof window. (Economy room). If you go by car, the hotel is unreachable. The parking place is not in the same street as the reception.
