Cozy family hotel with great bed and puzzling shower. Staff are benevolent, breakfast is tasty and location is really great, just near the medieval city defense ditch and tower and in ten minutes of walking is XV century Kremlin. It is 10 room cottage. Located near old Kremlin in pedestrian availability. And about 6km to Wooden Art of Buildings and Uriev Monastery. I had good impression from modern room furniture and fanny wall papers.

Closeness of the hotel to the castle and the main sightseeings of novgorod is the first advantage of choosing tri kota. Friendly staff, cat-furnished rooms and entrance, small but cosy kitchen, calm environment... Everything you need for a cultural trip in this hotel. Also, half an hour walk from train station and easy to find location are the plus sides of the mini hotel. bad. Hard to find hotel location. GPS would be solution. Attention to car ties due 200m dirt road. Staff could not speak English well (it will not be a problem if you have basic level in Russian language ). Air conditioner at our room wasn't worked and personel wasn't able to solve it during a daytime. Night was very warm and uncomfortable. This is not a hotel, actually it is a guest house located at the rural area - quite place from one hand, but you can bee seen in your room just from the neighbor houses. Dogs was also a problem with their voices during the night. nothing at all. Inconvenient access to the hotel. If you arrive late, can not stay on-site parking. Breakfast is small. Tiny shower, narrow stairs (bad for old people). Not easy to find as in a small street not in the city center. 20 min walk from the forteress entrance. In shower no place for shampoos and you have to put then on the floor... No bedside tables - it is not good... They take 100 rubles (3 $) for each hour of your early arriving. So travellers should take care of check-in time not to pay for this.
