I have been staying in this hotel for six days. After long flight from Australia I had great time to relax in a comfort atmosphere. Fantastic! Very welcoming staff, great rooms -brand new and clean. Hotel provides you with dressing gown and slippers. You can have tea or coffee with homemade yamy cakes and pies free of charge any time you wish. Homemade lunch or dinner could be served for very small charge ( AUD $9). Metro station is 7-8 minutes away. One stop to Nevski, prospect. Palace Square .
all reviews » I liked everything, almost. Especially the staff of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room. The design of the rooms is also very attractive. I has a room in black and white which I liked a lot. The food at supper was very good. But unlike it was the case in one of the previous review of the hotel (from Poland), the supper was not free of charge. I paid for it ;). The staffs really treat you like a family member instead of their customer, and try their best to fulfil every request that you may have. Great location, less than 10mins to metro stations, close to the river. Absolutely great value for money. In short, I'd highly recommend this hotel!. The hotel is little and cozy, but amazingly decorated, clean and friendly. The rooms are simply lovely, the staff don't speak so much English, but they do anything for make you stay more pleasant. The best choice I could make for my stay in St. P. for sure. The lovely staff, the cosy nature of the hotel. The authentic Russianess of it. The quality of the breakfasts. You need to be prepared for the staff not speaking english but hey isn't that all part of travel experience? Recommend it - if you can find it . Excellent hotel with an amazing staff! Not easy to find, you'b better call the hotel when you arrive in the street. They are happy to pick you up. Not much english, a dictionary app would help. No lift, so if you have a lot of luggages, it'd better to request a room in the ground floor. You can pay by card, but not every staff knows how to use the machine, so you may want to pay a bit earlier. Everything was perfect. An elevator is needed and maybe a fridge inside the rooms.. Not taking card payment and really little English. shower is too small. Couldn't check in in time - there was no one on reception or on phone. Staff are all very kind and nice, but only one staff speak a little English. Anyway. This is normal in Russia I guess. shower to small!!! people dont speak english.
