We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sankt-Petersburg and were delighted by our choice of Kamerdiner. We would like to come back to this small (7 rooms) superb hotel (B&B) again and again! When we returned from our walks through the city we were always offered delicious tea and icecream. We felt very secure. The hotel ist located in the city-center, within 10 minutes walk you reach the metro, Nevskij Prospect or the Neva. The hotel staff organized visa support and transfer to the airport. It was a great stay at Kamerdimer: friendly staff, free tea, coffee and tasty ice-cream all over your stay (everything well served and cooked), nourishing breakfast (1 or 2 eggs, toasts, fish, fruits (an apple or a peach), some slices of cervelat, tea or coffee, yogurt). I did not cope with sandwiches at breakfast and ask to put them into refrigerator. On our return to the hotel we were offered to have freshly prepared sandwiches (instead of the old ones) and tasty tea/coffe, so there were no. The Kamerdiner Hotel is the perfect hotel to be when traveling in St Petersburg. This is a charming hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet with only 7 rooms. There is always someone on the reception desk, 24h/24h!!! Incredible!! Breakfast in the room was also really appreciated. I can only recommend the hotel to everyone, whatever their standards. This is not a reproach, only a fact: people in St Petersburg (and probably in whole Russia) don't speak well english. So was that with the staff in the hotel too. So it was a pity we couldn't ask for tips, for info about St Petersburg or simply speak with them. But we felt they were a very kind and lovely staff. Although it appeared to be near the city centre and near most of the attractions it was too far to comfortably walk, as St Petersburg is a very big city. Nothing.
