First of all, the stuff was so kind & helpful that one of them suggested us to walk along the street to the city square instead of just telling us to use metro. That was very nice to see around. Bathrooms were the cleanest we've ever seen. As for the design of the sleepbox, it is very well designed. Such a small room could not be designed more purposive/functional. And also we enjoyed staying in such a creatively built box.
all reviews » Very friendly and enthousiastic staff. Young staff is a example of the young Russian generation which is different, open-minded and flexible. A very nice and original place. I like the concept and even though you have to share bathroom/shower, they clean all the time after usage. Good location. Rooms are very small like a cabin on a ferry, but you can sleep there perfectly. Very close to the Aeroexpress station (from where it's 35 mins to SVO D/E/F), just across the square from it. Modern, nice, clean, helpful staff. As you walk out, take a right, before Starbucks there's a nice 24hr gastro store. Next block - Upside Down Cakes, Ragout, Corner Burger. A short way off - Correa's, all great breakfast & lunch spots. Hotel staff was amazing. We were offered to settle at noon (rather than 3pm), and leave our stuff for storage until the evening next day. My girlfriend liked the design so much! Although the rooms are tiny, everything (rooms, bathroom, entrance) is clean and comfortable. Coffee and water at the reception at more than affordable prices. Sleepbox in Moscow is first rate. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent english. The facilities were top class, comfortable, everything you could want at likely the best priced accommadation in Moscow City. Best nights sleep I had on trip. I walked to red square and back. It was easy. I highly recommend sleepbox. This was an awesome experience! The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the place was top notch clean all the time, the interiors made me feel like I was on a spaceship! :) As this is very close to train station and metro, it was very convenient. Bike rental was goood! Will definitely come back. I liked the face that it was right in the middle of the city centre and it we very affordable. My fiancée made a comment that it was a place that was like a hostel but it has style and I agree. They served lemonade in the waiting area and the staff was very hospitable. We enjoyed it very much. The most unfavourable thing about the hotel was that they didn't change the bed lining, they renewed only the towels. One minor problem about our room was that it was not sound-proofed, but actually there were not so many people staying in our flat therefore noise wasn't a problem. Only disadvantage was that some of the rooms were not sound-proofed (yet). There seem to be some problems with closing the doors totally, therefore you might hear a lot of sounds from other people on the floor. If the hotel manage to solve this problem, then you can really sleep in silence. When my room showed this problem, I was quickly offered another sleepbox which was better isolated. If you arrive by the cab/call a cab, make sure to explain the specific location as the maps won't show this house and calling reception didn't help us much. The best reference is: the hotel is right on Tverskaya, close to Svyaznoy and MTS. And before Starbucks as you drive towards downtown. The entrance is fairly small, only a door shows, we missed it twice as we cruised by. The only thing - we have bumped our head few times, hitting the top bed. There was nothing I didnt like. Top class run very professionally. It was a very good experience so we can't think of anything that we did not like. The cabins are not soundproof. Bring along a set of decent earplugs you may need them. It was difficult to find, because we was by car, but parking and stops is not allowed on Tverskaya street. I stopped there only for one night and only from 11 p.m. till 5:30 a.m., so it was nothing disappointed me. It is a little bit noisy in particular when cleaning of rooms is started early in the morning. The staff is not skilled enough. It was a little bit cold in the room at night. Small wc and shower. Problems with WiFi. Nothing!. Common bathroom facilities... but then it wouldn't be priced as it is. The box was new and had a strong smell of wood and resin inside, not too pleasant when you stay for night. Ventilation is too weak. Very tiny.no outside windows.just to sleep few hrs. For cheap.cabins even for 2 just fits one person. The price is the only problem of this hotel.. Bed a wee bit nartow. Very little natural light or ventilation. You can still smell the resins from the wood. Better ventilation would be good. A bit tough to sleep a close space. But it is personal. Carpet might be clened better. Could have been a slightly larger common area with electric plugs. Best for one night. Bed was a bit stiff for my girlfriend but ok with me. Everything's fine. Try to improve the air circulation system will be more wonderful. WiFi connection is poor. lack of oxygen in rooms. Quite small. - When someone smokes somewhere you can feel that through ventilation. :)) Little bit to small. Smells badly in the room(maybe the smell of paint from new facilities?). We felt cold in the room at night(Moscow's October). Price (2900 rub for single) is too high: no Breakfast, there is no soul. But the main thing — dull noise from the near lying night club. On Saturday you will not fall asleep until 3 am. No water in the rooms and on the floor (( You must buy coolers!. Awful smell from bathroom. Likely from drains. Had to keep bathroom door closed.
