Exceptionally clean and new hotel. Breakfast was also very good and in with room price. Excellent location and only 15-20 mins walk from Red Square. Restaurants a plenty in the local vicinity. To get to Hotel however can be a little confusing as in a gated courtyard and dont look for sign Hotel De Paris as you wont find it. You will find it in Russian language however. To get to Hotel leave Tverskaya underground and head west along Bolshaya Bronnaya street. You will know your going in the corre.

Not big but very comfortable rooms, new design and new equipment, very good lavatory and bathroom, good towel, and there are bathrobe and slippers in the complect. And very good restorable - it is small but they have very good shef and interesting menu. The prices quiet not high - especially in the hart of Moscow. Actually the hotel has all the things to have a very pleasant time there. And important - N. Location is excellent, 2min walk to Tverskaya metro station, 15-20min walk to Kremlin/Red Square. Need to go through an arch into a courtyard as the hotel is not on the street. This means you have no traffic noise. Rooms are tastefully decorated and to good standard. Standard rooms are lower ground floor so the windows are by the ceiling and hard to reach. We were overcharged for our stay and it took >2 weeks to get a refund back (due to admin delays). The charge for later check out! The breakfast area is relatively small, but it would be ok if more staff involved to clean tables for example. At check-in had a misunderstanding with the payment and the hotel took higher price, but then excused and transferred the money back, which usually takes about 2 weeks to have the money at the account. No elevator to third floor with luggage. First room was warm and a/c couldn't cool it down. Easily moved to another room on same floor with cold a/C. Rooms on the ground floor have the air conditioning switched off for winter and it gets very hot and with no opportunity to open the window. Could find it only thanks to other booking review :-) Remember to bring with you the name written in Russian!. Only way to reduce heating was to open window and in winter that meant wide temperature changes. A separate bar would have been good but not an essential. Just one bottle of water for two people and no water heater to make coffee. The door wasn't very easy to open. Room in basement.windows shut .no view.no air.have to use airconditioning . No additional amenities in the room (bottle of water or coffee maker etc.). Hard to find, even by cab. the hotel in the pictures looks better than it is. Prices are a little high. Check in took a really long time, which we didn't factor in as we had tickets for the theater. We had our tickets sent to the hotel and it took them quite awhile to find it. Heat. Poor sound isolation. breakfast was not rich enough for a 4* hotel. nothing. Difficult to find first time - sign in English would help or any sort of prominent signs. Hotel is located in a courtyard and entrance is not obvious. No lift. No tea and coffee facilities in the room. No beer in the bar fridge - only spirits, wines and juice. Tiny safe - too small for even an iPad. Very small room and no public rooms. Indifferent service by some staff. Expensive considering some lack of facilities. Too expensive for what it offers. Unfortunately, all Moscow hotels are like this. Staff not as friendly as you expect... The room was very small, and no amenities in the room even the bedding were weird as they were padded with Nylon where we used to wake up during the night sweating as the bed is not breathing , it sounds weird but try it to feel what iam saying. Hard to find as enterance located in an internal parking lot. Poor breakfast, not nice staff in restaurant. Small rooms in basement floor. Price of restaurant food. No elevator.
