we have booked standard room and were upgraded with no additional charges on arrival. The staff of the hotel were professional and polite, the room was very modern and elegant. Great location (5 minute walk to nearest metro station) and overall good value for money. I would recommend this hotel; however, i would highly recommend to avoid ordering from its restaurant. Helpful, friendly & welcoming staff. Tidy comfortable room with useful amenities. Splendid location for high end shopping. Red Square was a delightful 15 minute walk away. Gourmet Russian cuisine in the cute bar & restaurant. After hours of sight-seeing, I loved retreating to the relaxing haven of my room to recharge.
all reviews » Location is good but very expensive at us$551 (17,500 r) a night so could have stayed at expensive brand for that by the Square or on the main avenue, cappuccino was decent, wifi worked but little slow for a business traveler. The front desk employees are quite helpful and friendly though. This is a really nice place in good location whith friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Warm floor on bathroom was a very big surprise for me as well as red colored night light :) Shower gel smells untypical but very good, I think about purchasing a bottle for home usage. The design and the friendly staff. We arrive early morning and Julia, a front desk staff has immediately made available one room for us. Also we need tickets for the train to St. Petersburg three days later and they were immediately booked according to our needs. The safe was big enough to put a whole computer inside. The room was quiet. Location was perfect. We were at the heart of Moscow. I could leave my bags at the lobby and pick up them later. That was really helpful. Not well known by taxi drivers so I had to use my gps and guide quite a few to its location. Price for breakfast. Fast internet only with you pay separately. The bathroom was ugly. The stainless steel sink and toilet was not pretty. But most terrible thing, the one that really bothered us was the shower. The curtain they use there don't stop the water from flooding the whole bathroom. It was annoying to take a show and have to dry the whole bathroom afterwards. The drain was not working properly as well. The service at the breakfast has always been inaccurate, not coherent with the rest of the hotel services. The breakfast was too expensive. cost of restaurant. too expensive so even breakfast for us was in next door Shokoladnitsa cafe. Only minor things,towels little old,no change room in the spa,breakfast not included in room price. Room was smaller as was described and we expected. But for 1-3 night it's OK. unluckly the wellness centre (sauna and pool) was out of service. gym not so cool. Bar prices. Nothing. Shower system. The room had a small window which was not openning, so I couldn't have fresh air in the room. The internet connection was very poor. Limited facilities for a business traveler, limitation on Free Wi-Fi. Dark corridors Smallish rooms. - Breakfast NOT included and quite expensive - no payment of bill the evening before check-out possible - long check-out procedure. Shower system is "unpredictable". Staff were cold, but we were in Moscow !. There's no nighttime lighting in a bathroom, no easily accessible electric outlets near the bed. Uncomfortable bed. There is no free parking which was mentioned on your site. doesn't really match the four star hotel that it pretends to be. Small room! And expensive price! Bad shower!. Our room faced a wall; couldn't see anything. The wi-fi connection was not very good; the "hot tub" was cold. I wonder how it made it to 5 stars status. There was very dark in the room, I wouldn't like design in spite of good idea of the hotel's name and nice photos at the site. Unusual design features, eg angular metal bed frames (seriously cut leg within 2 minutes) - zipped fabric for main curtains - thongs for curtain ties - fridge full of condoms - red painted (!) bathroom floor - nothing really clean - indifferent breakfast. The personal, forced me to pay upfront upon arrival. They didn't accept Maestro. They even wanted to charge a deposit for eventually cosums of the minibar. The worse of all, prices where rediculous high and totally unreasonable expensive room service (2 Meals for 2, cost same as the 3 nights stay). And on the top of it, they made mistakes and end up charging by checking out. (They corrected the invoice twice based on my request). Not so friendly at the end. the prices are very high for the beverages and foods.We did not prefer to have breakfast hotel. staff.
