Clean, quiet & comfortable hotel - this is a chain consisting of several hotel units around the downtown. Excellent location of this particular hotel (quiet street just a few blocks behind one of the main avenues and subway stations). Value for money is quite good or acceptable for the crazy Moscow relations (in the upper-economy category). Electric kettle and basic tea/coffee set in the room is an asset. all reviews » The staff at the reception was extremely helpful from the beginning. Kind and always ready to answer questions. We left a coat in the limo from the airport, they immediately called the company and had the coat delivered. Assisted with getting tickets for a concert, scheduled taxis, and recommended restaurants, just wonderful. Their names are Yulia (two of them) and Tatiana. The breakfast was fine, not oppulent, but from yoghurt over hard boiled eggs and cold cuts, oatmeal, everything was avail. 10 minutes to middle of Moscow central red square by car or metro. Restaurants across the road or all around with a good choice even coffee cafe for breakfast if you don't want to take Bed & Breakfast which is a cold buffet in the hotel so a choice. overall this hotel is good value for money to stay in Moscow somewhere nice and clean and the staff totally understand all your needs and speak good English. I have stay in many large hotels where you pay the price this hotel does the need to . Price was good for being near the city center and with access to the metro system only a 7-10 minute walk from the hotel. The staff did speak English with Denis being fluent and very affable and the other ladies speaking a varying degree of English (enough to get my questions answered). We liked having breakfast included with our reservation, however after the first day, breakfast was boring. There was no variation in the daily buffet layout. Rooms were very small, but clean. Great the internet. This hotel was only opened at the beginning of 2013, the décor was to a high standard, if a little bit too kitsch in places, and temperature of rooms excellent. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. The front desk staff were great and genuinely helpful – Deniz even assisted with translation issues at the nearby atm machine which was only in Russian! The metro station is less than 2 minutes walk and central location is great – as a regular visitor to Moscow I will definitely return t. The walking distance to Red Square is about 25 min., and considering that you then walk again through the city or museums, we recommend to take a taxi. The ones that the hotel orders are well priced and not a rip-off. We booked 2 rooms and one was considerably larger than the second. I got the smaller room which was charged at the same price as the larger room. We had a queen bed (listed as a king) for me and my 2 kids. I did not get charged extra but it was not comfortable. Room size was about 10 x 12 feet and the bed took up most of the room. There was no bathtub, but the spa shower was nice. One day I had to take a cold shower since they ran out of hot water. There were no English tv channels. It was all good. There wasn't an option for early check in, which was tough for us after many hours of intercontinental travel. We had to wait for the room for almost 4 hours in the lobby. The building wasn't soundproof enough. We could hear people in other rooms and the lobby. Not too too loud, but pronounced enough to be noticed. So if you are sensitive to noise, this is something to take into consideration. Some staff were hesitant to speak in English. 100% pre-payment at check- in. Limited choice of food in Room-service. No complimentary water. Bathroom door handle was broken. Apart from the above, minor niggles, this was an excellent place to stay!. Breakfast has rather Soviet charm, but you can find all you need. Wireless line to be imporved: I was at the second floor and the line in my room dropped every minute. relatively small rooms. Even the superior rooms are small. location is not central but still in the center. Be prepared to deal with some staff members with very limited English but hey, this isn't England. Cook needs to learn how to make the porridge correctly at breakfast – wallpaper paste consistence is not a pleasant way to start the day. Unable to get the chair between bed and desk so had to perch on the end of the bed to work. In general nothing bad. Of course the price for the room during the working week is much higher, as everywhere in Moscow. A bit far from main attractions. I slight smell of the paint or varnish in the room. The hotel is a bit anonymous and hidden round the back of the Olympic Stadium in a not particularly attractive part of the city, although convenient for Prospekt Mira Metro, the Botanical Gardens etc. Puzzling lack of access to Ironing room. Breakfast was ok but no more. Room temperature was a little warm and seemed to be no way to regulate without opening window to road (which was quite load at times). Bathroom is a "bit" small, in particular .. to wash hands is a bit too close to the door. Still smell of new paint. The buffet was OK but not overly exciting. A bit oily for my taste. Not even an other chair to place the clothes. The TV doesn't show any international channels. Design very special, breakfast a bit poor (no good bread, no fresh juice, almost no fruits,...). The breakfast was very simple. Breakfast rich choice but low quality coffee,bread Staff quite slow,ignorant. Rooms are a bit small. Staff should be more knowledgeable about city attractions, places, transportation. WiFi poor bandwidth, dropping all the time. In my room wasn^t warm at February, but in the lobby and in the restaurant was comfortable temprature. I am accustomed to have a pool or at least sauna in a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was a bit plain. the street outside is not clean does not the fit the hotel. Not soundproof walls. Pay cash for restaurant; not able to charge to room. Nothing to be advised. Walls must be very thin so rooms very noisy. could clearly hear TV from room one side and a phone alarm which keep going off all night on the other!!!. the brakfast very boor, no restorant or any bar. enough but not too nice. If you have a late check-in and don't take the phone this day (in my case I was already on the way ) booking can be taken off. But I must say, that manager did her best to help me. -noise insulation of the rooms could be better.
