Friendly & helpful staff, some spoke little English (after all, it is Russia) but still tried to help as much possible. Very convenient location, short walk to Kremlin, Red Square, National Museum of History, Bolshoi, eateries, etc. My room was clean, warm, recently refurbished and had a new bathroom. Free W-Fi, Large led tv, in room mini fridge. Simple but all I needed. It's only one-years-old hotel with all new facilities and very friendly staff. Pluses: In the center of Moscow 8 min till metro Near Main Street- Arbat with a lot of cafes Free wifi Free ironing Free hair dryer in the bath Huge plasma TV Lots of video cameras in hotel corridors Very cozy rooms with one main color (it can be red, green or blue).
all reviews » Location is an advantage! Close to many nice cafes and Tverskoi Boulevard - marvelous at night time on Xmas Eve. Good for one-two nights - for a longer stay the small room might seem too tight. Ironing spot is available in the corridor. Location is great, 10 min walk to Red square plus lots of restaurants around the hotel. Price is good for the location, staff was friendly and accommodating. Even though hotel was under construction, rooms were pretty quite. Very nice staff who speaks at least a little english. Rooms are new and very clean, although I didn't have a writing desk. The hotel is located on a third floor without elevator; the reception is very small; breakfast is only upon request and in-room; rooms are very small, with a very small wardrobe; the use of water in the toilet activates a very noisy electrical pump, that can be heard from one roome to the other; no noise-isolated rooms; only Russian speaking personnel (only one speaks English). Staff did not speak english at all and were not friendly enough to make us feel welcome. Only one receptionist was nice and spoke fair english. Besides, they did not even have maps of Moscow! We had to walk to find another hotel and take a map from their reception (taking into account that nobody speaks english in this city you definitely will need a map). I would not recommend this hotel for non-Russian tourists. No lift and the hotel is on 3rd floor. No help offered with our bags by hotel. price,facilities.
