  Very nice location (close to Balea lac, on Transfagarasan road). The rooms are 3* exactly as described: clean, not too fancy, but they have everything you need. The staff is polite even if sometimes confused (not too many waiters). The breakfast has 3 fixed menus which are fine for a max one week stay otherwise you can get bored. The food is good,... what people say » especially the trout. - The location is amazing. On the southern part of Transfagarasan, 18 km down from Balea Lac. The rooms are clean, not big but enough for a night or two. The food is good and you can take the dinner in the room but you have to go get it yourself from the restaurant. It is a pleasure to take the breakfast on the terrace in the cold and fresh morning air.

  good price (similar with the lower ranked "pensiuni"). Staff was helpful when asked to start breakfast 7 am instead of 8 am. Also tolerant with us showing up late in the night (22.30) and still taking orders for dinner (even though restaurant closes 23.00). Food generally ok but nothing special. Location is excellent if you you're after hiking in ... what people say » Fagaras Mountains. - I stayed in one the bungallows. Simple, but cosy and very clean. Also very quiet: all you hear (night or day) is the creek running under your small verandah.

  Heating! It was +1C on 14th of September! Perfect location! Friendly and very helpful staff, nice view & landscape in the hart of the mountain! Meals above our expectation (due to prices which we paid for it). I will go there again, for sure. Next time in July. - Great location
