specially staffed very amiable, polite and attentive. The receptionists were very lovable and smiling and the maids very attentive to every detail of the room. I highly recommend it for location and great cost and comfort. Next to the metro, the old center and tourist town, the main square, the bus stop for the airport and post office and other city services. This must be one of the best hotels in Bucharest in terms of "value for money". The hotel is centrally located, close to the old city center, rooms are large and clean. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot rate this one. Most of the other 3-4* hotels in Bucharest are very similar, but more expensive.
all reviews » The hotel is nice located, right next to Casa Poporului (Parliament Palace - second largest building in the world, after Pentagon). The rooms are huge, especially the ones facing Casa Poporului, clean, with AC and WIFI. Breakfast is quite good. It is great value for money, especially in weekends (49 Euro/night). -space in the room. -comfortable bed and bathroom. -decent TV and working space. -maximum 3 minutes to get a taxi -24/7 bar open. Excellent service, especially the wonderful Livia who went above and beyond provide excellent customer experience!. Comfort, even after returning back from the centre very late, you could always drink a beer, coffee or whatever. Like always,all the Ibis hotel are very clean, very comfy and the room are very nice. The hotel was clean, generally quiet, nice, good location and budget-friendly. veiw of parliament building was nice. large, clean and comfortable rooms. Not possible to open the window in the room; Shower cabin showed mold damage. The second day of our stay they did not clean at all our room. We did not even have clean towels and that was a very unpleasant surprise. However, when I checked out I realised that after my complain they did not charge me for this day. Coming back to hotel in the evening requires taxi, is a little bit far from the center. the room was too hot, windows did not open and unable to turn down heat. the front desk staff checking my family in was rude. we ate in the over priced restaurant and the waiter barely gave us the time of day. we had to hunt him down for the bill and we were the only ones in there. there was no door or curtain in the tub to take a shower. Windows cannot be opened, the room was poor equipped (no tea making facilities, empty minibar, no toiletries - except for soap, no shoe polish, towels just for 1 person although we were 2). The bed was rather small (140 cm wide) but confortable. Breakfast is not included. Parking is not included. So at the end the price is like in the 4 stars hotel 100m beside which I liked much more :-). We had to pay extra the parking ant it was not anounced before; in the room was alwayes a smell from the shower pipes, you should do something about it... No balcony and smoking rooms smells really bad, because the windows are locked. There is no way to open them. Room smelled like smoke Windows are fix: unable to open them. the reception was so so slow, there was nobody to help with our luggage, stuff hurred to make us sign for the extras we ate and drank, as if we were to run away without paying. not welcoming at all. The stuff at front desk don't speak much..more of them not even the simple hello..like you are in their livingroom...and you are the one bothering them. Lack of shower gel in the bathroom. the heater was too noisy. the fridge didn't work. we asked for a 2 double bed bedroom and got one double bed and one opening couch which didn't open and didn't have sheets for it either. we asked for more pillows and got only 1 more. It's impossible to open the window in the room. Besides, we couldn' d fall asleep because of the too loud music from the restaurant. (Our room was located in the 2nd floor). Too high parking price for the hotel customers. One elevator stooped functioning and it was not fixed, I had to pay for everything right from the checking (this is kind of stupid and it's the first time EVER when I had to do this) and in my opinion the prices are a little overrated. Window impossible to open Air Condition blowing smoke of neighbours into the room very bad restaurant at high prices. the personal is not so good. The rooms were filled with smoke even though I had a non smoking room. The music was so loud and even being on the 8th floor I could hear the music from the lounge until 2:30am! I would not stay here again.
