The staff was very friendly, we asked for the room with a mountain view and we got a nice one with a balcony (even if it was only a standard room). The other time we stayed at the restaurant after closing time and we were still served. Also the staff at the SPA center was very nice and helpful. The garden is great, connected with an indoors swimming pool with nice deckchairs. Access to the hotel: 1 min. away from the train and bus stations, 10 min. nice walk to the main shopping street. all reviews » We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much! It is very close to the center of Zakopane by foot and to the bus station. The staff was very nice, the room was huge, the bathroom was clean, there were bottles of free mineral water in the rooms everyday. The breakfast was the best I've seen in a while, there was a big variaty of food to choose from. The wellness part was also very clean, well organized, with everything you need to chill out. The parking was free in the hotel's own parking lot the. This hotel was simply beautiful. The facilities were fabulous, the scenery was amazing. The staff were fantastic. The facilities for children at the hotel were the best I have seen anywhere in the world. There was an outside play area for kids, an indoor play room with a 2 story jungle gym. A table for kids at breakfast & kids toys at the swimming pool. Our hotel room had special soap & shampoo for kids separate from the set for parents... There is really no better place to take the kid. Extremely nice hotel, our room was huge, clean and very comfy. Spa facilities are excellent, location extremely good (close both to city centre, railway station, bus station). All our interactions with hotel staff were very painless, they were always very helpful (for example we arrived 9 hours before official checkin time but got our room within 2 hours). Classic hotel, very close to the main street of Zakopane (Krupowki street) but further away so you can't hear any noise from the crowds of that street. Tasty breakfast buffet, with a big variety. Staff friendly and professional. The car park on the back of the hotel is a plus for those driving there. The spa is excellent, good sized pool and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi etc all top notch. Standard room was too crowded (maybe sliding door wardrobe or removing a small table would be a solution?). Also bathroom a bit too small. Would be nice to have a separate balcony (all of them were connected at our floor, so you can freely walk in front of the other guests' windows). My boyfriend who does not speak Polish had some communication problems once or twice but most of the time the staff speaks excellent English. Nothing that worths mentioning. The balcony on our room was a shared one. My and the rooms next to it share the same balcony, which means that people from other rooms can easily look to the inside. And you have to be extra carefull and don't forget to leave the balcony's door open, or else people can enter your room. Nothing important. The only thing was the lack of kettle in the room.(tea+coffee anytime you want) I think that 4* hotel should has this facility. The room was a little warm due to the lack of A/C. No airconditioning, however fan was made available. N/A. - lack of air condition in the rooms. The traffic queues both into and out from Zakopane is an absolute nightmare. Zakopane, in my opinion, is a rather downmarket tourist honeypot with lots of tat and had I known what the traffic was going to be like I would not have bothered to go there. Nothing. Expensive restaurant. Overpriced and almost empty Not a single person in the hotel restaurant on Saturday night so went out to town for an evening meal. Our room had a large bathroom but the shower was so small that we used the showers in the spa, not what you would expecpt from a 4 star hotal!!.
