We ordered a room for 1 night in Helvetia hostel, but was upgraded to the room with a separate bathroom in the Helvetia apartments. And it was just perfect!!! The bed is very cozy and clean, nice breakfast and great common area with a kitchen. It takes 6 min to walk to the main shopping/bars street Nowy Swiat, 5 min walking to the University Library and about 15-20 to the old town. Highly recommended.
all reviews » I arrived quite late time, around 24:00 so I couldn't get a food outside, however, a staff offered some bread and tea also very kind. all the staff were nice and i get lots of information what i needed. clean space, nice location, and even resonable price.I highly recommend to other visitots. Really friendly and helping staff. Always good to have an included breakfast (good quality and up-to 11:00 am :-)) Nice selection of pictures in the corridors, of various horizons much further than Warsaw! The central location is convenient. Confortable bedding. I liked the location very much! In the very centre of Warsaw! The room was spacious, the kitchen equipped with lots facilities which you had free access to. And the staff was very,very heplful and friendly!. Spotlessly clean and well designed room, hot water everytime and not bad location, if you don't mind walking for 15 minutes to Old town. Staffs were friendly and included breakfast was satisfying. The walls must be very thin and the conversations can be heard from one room to another, very late at night, or early in the morning. Would not be a problem if guests would consider quietness after 10 or 11:00 pm. But nothing reminds them ... Thin curtains, that don't hide daylignt in the first morning hours. It was not a budget-friendly hostel for us, but it's ok if you book in advance. nothing. Bathrooms - not always clean, unwelcoming. In the shower, you are separated from the view of others by nothing more than the shower curtain. It was uncomfortable to have to stand in the (wet) shower while drying yourself and dressing again. Plus, if you lose your balance and fall into the curtain, everyone can see your naked self on display! Not enjoyable. Also only 1 toilet in the girls bathroom and 1 toilet in the co-ed bathroom. No dislikes. -minimalistic breakfast, but ok for the prize. time of settlement at 15.00. Because of the situation it can be difficult to find a place to eat on Saturday evening - all restaurants are packed. Shared bathroom is not very clean and comfortable - especially when a lot of people are staying at the hostel. Also too crowded in the common room in the morning during the breakfast. Nothing is that i dont like. bathroom facilities were not maintained. a little bit shabby kitchen. - problems with wifi connection. Shower wasn't warm enough. Toilet capacity is not enough, we had to move to other coridors to use the bathroom. No towels are provided.
