The apartment was just wonderful. It was on the top floor in the "Glass Apartment." It was all wood, even the ceiling. Skylight and large window provided great light. So relaxing. The apartment was right in the Old Town area of Warsaw and surrounded by so many places to eat. It had great internet service, which was free. The shower had strong water pressure and the bathroom was big. The host, who is the owner was a delight. This is the kind of place to go and be in the middle of everything,.
all reviews » Beautifully designed, spacious apartment. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom all a traveller could want. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had an email before I arrived asking about arrival times and giving all the information I needed to get from the airport and to find the apartment - very easy. You can't complain it's not great value. Location in the old town is perfect. Loved it and would definitely return. It was just perfect! Very big apartment with good bathroom, nice bed, super location. Location in the middle of the old town was excellent. Agnieszka is a very friendly person, we stayed two nights and had our flight back in the evening(18:00), we asked if we can stay till 17:00 in the apartment. This was no problem and we don't have to pay extra money for it. Agnieska arranged a taxi for us to the airport. Super!. The apartment's location was fantastic. Our attic apartment had a lovely ambience and we felt very welcome and at home for the 6 nights we spent here. Street noise could be heard from our window but we felt this added to the atmosphere and the feeling of being a part of this city. Agnieszka was a perfect hostess helping us with a map and ideas of things to do and see. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Warsaw. Duval is a wonderful place to stay at! The hole atmosphere is so genuine! The room was really big and cozy. There is like a 30 min walk to the shopping area but it's totally worth staying here cause every day we got back home we were amazed with the beauty of the old town..Taxi is really cheap if you don't like walking. The staff is supernice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I go back!. On our return to Warsaw after 5 weeks we again stayed at Duval but this time in the very comfortable glass room. Once again assistance by Martin and Agnieszka arranging transport before we arrived and when we were leaving at a reasonable cost. Location is fantastic, just down the street from the main square in the Old Town and close to good restaurants. Loved the ambience of the area. For anyone planning to visit Warsaw, this is the perfect choice. Agnieszka, the owner, is the nicest person and really cares about her guests. I lost my cellular phone at a huge park and she personally made it possible to get it back the next day. Awesome! Besides, the location is perfect, in the Old Town, with restaurants and the "must sees" at walking distance. I'd go back for sure. It was a perfect 3 star hotel. Beautiful rooms, but there is no elevator, so one has to walk up two or 3 flights of stairs. Martin will handle the baggage. The location is perfect in the old town. Good Italian restaurant in the building. Duval is a Pearl in the middle of Old Town. Our Retro apartment was spacious, clean, decorated with fresh flowers and quiet, facing backyard. Situated in the middle of the Old Town in an nice, authentic building. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The decoration will especially be appreciated by women (we had 'the granny's room'. My room was very large with old world charm with modern amenities. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The staff, location and the apartment made it best place I have ever stayed. Nothing!. As others have said, no lift so for some this will be a problem - okay for arrival since staff will help but leaving in the morning, no-one was there. Couldn't find an English TV channel but I personally didn't care. Shower is too small. It was quite hot when we were there and the apartment is not airconditioned, The fan supplied was a floor fan and inadequate. At the very least pedestal fans should be available for the occasional periods in the year when it is hot. Everything was perfect. No negative comments. Only drawback is the two or three flights of stairs if a person has physical problems. Nothing. Suggestions only (i) small table and a couple of chairs; (ii) relocation of either couch or tv to be able to sit and watch tv when in room. Maybe a bit steep steps ??. Our apartment located on the third floor (2nd), but you don’t step up the staircase many times a day. Nothing. The beds are to be renewed. We were told that this was on their list of improvements. There was absolutely nothing not to like. I have no complaints to be honest. No Elevator.. The mattresses were very hard. This did not make a comfortable sleep. Would have like to have had a safe in the room. needs aircon.
