Excelletn hotel! It's located right by highway A4 behind Orlen gas station so we didn't have much expectations. Nevertheless, we were positively surprise by its cleanness and confort!! Definitely worth its price. They have only twin rooms, but if you put the bed together it work perfect for a couple! Suff was super nice, helpful, and friendly. Next time we have to stay in Boleslawiec, we are definitely going back to Picaro.
all reviews » I've stayed at this hotel twice. It has to be the most cleanest of all the hotels I've been in while living in Europe. The price is incredibly cheap. 24 hour restaurant had a very hearty breakfast and the meals were delicious. In the US this is considered a truck stop hotel but in my opinion, it's top rate and I felt very safe here. We use the Picaro hotels when travelling in Poland. They are aimed at business and leisure people who need a break when travelling long distances. They excellent value and maintained to a high standard. Great location, the hotel is brand new, clean, convenient and functional. Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent value for money. The room was clean. The staff, although not English speaking, helped us to the best of their ability. Ample parking. absolutely spotless, 24hr staffed reception, 24hr restaurant. ideal stopover for long distance travellers. No complaints. Best tomatoes I have ever eaten at breakfast, restaurant for towel is great. Hotel is new, very stylish, modern design.. very comfortable. Sometimes it was a little difficult to communicate with the employees due to the limited amount of English that they spoke. But what do you expect in a foreign country? Learn a little Polish and have some patience. Other than that, I have no complaints. Nothing. Breakfast - strange cooperation with quasi independent restaurant in the same building. Buffet seems to be OK from the first look but food is fat and not so fresh. Also personnel looked bored. It's located on the side of the highway with a truck stop. We didn't know this when making the reservation. Also, it's butted up against some woods and upon opening the room window we were bombarded with mosquitos. no complaints whatsoever. Needs hairdryer in bathroom. Breakfast is bad. No hair dryer in the room. only a few mosquitos in a room. drinks (coffee, juice). some of the personnel doesn't speak English or German. Meals of dinner buffet in restaurant are not warm. Breakfast buffet is not good, bread tastes old and coffee is bad.
