I stayed at this establishment twice during my recent vacation to Poland. As I reported in my first note, I found it very welcoming, friendly, excellent value for money, and quite comfortable. The all female staff - Joanna (the Boss), Hannah, Anna, Dominica, Justinia and Carolina, set and maintain a very high standard of care, welcome, and friendliness. I, as an older gent, particularly appreciated the high security, and the fact there is a lift to the 5th floor, where the Hostel is located.
all reviews » I arrived after a 27 hr coach trip from London. THe receptionist who handled my booking was Joanna, the boss herself. I was immediately made to feel at ease and completely welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for her to do. THe other girls on duty during the two days of my first visit (I an currently here again for another four nights) kept up the standards set by Pani Joanna. I thouroughly recommend this establishment. One thing that I, as a nuch oleder visitor than mormal, did really. It is located in an excellent location, 10 minutes from Central station and 5 from the center of Old Town. Another pro is the 24h-open reception, so hostel is accessible at any time. The cost for a night was very friendly. the hostel is very near to the railway station and buss station just 5-7 min walking. their is a store just around the corner which is very good. the hostel have a very pleasant staff. good value of the money. Elevator is available for hostel located on 5th floor! Location is prefect. 10-minute walikng from main station and to old town. Convenience store is nearby the hostel. Perfect location, only 100 meters from Barbican of Krakow and 5 mins from the main square of Krakow through the picturesque Florianska Gate and street with same name. Central location in between transport and Central Krakow so everything was within walking distance. Fantastic place to stay on a budget, would recommend to anyone. The location is really nice. Every attraction in the city part of Krakow is in walking distance. Comfy rooms. Have a supermarket closing late just downstairs. Very good position, staff very friendly and helpful, very cheap (but only if you book online). - location - staff (lovely girls) - lockers - clean - meet another travelers - price. It's cheap and clean. Everything is ok. I really recommend this hostel :). Location, price. Not a bad word to say against Joanna, her girls, or the establishment. mot one negative point to make about joanna, her girls, or the hostel. the kitchenette is kinda limited. but that ok, they help you to use another hostel s just 5 min away. and you can use their kitchen. maybe a little to much perfume in bedclothes / sheets for my taste. Only 2 toilets are not enough for all of the guests. There seemed to be no request in place for quiet time after say 11pm. If there were guests coming in getting drunk making loud noises then that is guaranteed to disturb other guests. There needs to be a noise curfew in place so we can all sleep. A little noisy due to the traffic and the door ring. You may have a problem if you have to sleep very quietly. The front door and lift looked old and scary. But inside the hostel is absolutely nice. Hot water only by electric boiler: if you are unlucky you'll take a fresh shower :p. - everything was good. Nothing. ...?.
