Ewa was fabulous. She was so helpful, recommended a fantastic restaurant on the first night and helped us plan our salt mines and Auschwitz buses. As the buses to Auschwitz are infrequent on a sunday so advised us to swap our days round. The room was massive and the hotel was in a quiet location. The kitchen was an added bonus (stayed in a 'suite'). The location was brilliant for us, close enough to old town but far enough out for it to be quiet. A five min walk from main square past the best.
all reviews » Very clean and tidy rooms (with tv, radio and Wi-Fi), wonderful location (5 min to city center or to railway station), really friendly owner (pani Ewa). Kitchen annex has absolutely everything - fridge, dishwashing machine, electric cooker, electric kettle, as well as all kitchen appliances (plates, forks, pots etc.), tea, coffee. Moreover, you will be provided by houseowner with guide-books and maps for free))) Everything is really wonderful - I strongly recommend!. Lady at the reception is a mine of information and very helpful looking up timetables and answering any questions you might have. Excellent location, between old town and main railway station. Inside court yard was lovely, quiet place to relax. The location of the accomodation is very close to the old town. The owner is kind and helpful. The only good thing was the location, walking distance to center. It was possible to hear people in the small corridor so sometimes woken up by voices, doors banging and the communal shower. Mattress was too soft from use and bed was making creaking noise every time i turned around or moved. Noise did not bother me too much but must be annoying for neighbours... The bath is small and smells. But it because of the old building. Hot water was there but a bit slow in coming! Could do with an attractive more visible sign out on the street. Needs to be bigger and with a light inside to highlight the name! Yes it does!. I disliked nothing about this hotel. Bathroom door didn't close properly. they should put a larger sign in the street. Entry and reseption, payment by cash and ZL only. old furniture. nothing - it was amazing!. none. nothing. Towels and bed sheets were not changed during our 3 night stay. Very small bathroom Very old and simple, without any details or confort It was clean bur it doesn´t look clean. Old building, old furniture, cold in the room (even it was end of May 2013), very poor conditions...more like a hostel, smell old. I would not come here again anymore. Noisy in the morning with work tools....no, not recommended.
