The hotel was very clean and very well decorated. The bed in the matrimonial suite was huge and very comfortable. I think the mattress was a memory foam. There was lots of closet space and the room was spotlessly clean. The light was a bit dark with only desk lamps, but our room was on the top (4th) floor. The bathroom was also very large and spotlessly clean. The shower was huge as well. Soap and towels were provided. The room was very safe and secure. Breakfast the next day was delicious and .
all reviews » Lovely big clean room, very friendly staff, great location only 30 mins walk from Miraflores centre / Kennedy Park (or 5 mins in a taxi for 5-10 soles, take the address with you). Safe area for walking around. Also several excellent restaurants on La Mar avenue very near. The best cerviche places are only open in the day (when the fish is freshest), but others also open in the evening. Plenty of hot water during our stay, good wifi connection. Very nice bilingual staff. Young, smart, artistically designed. In residential area of miraflores 2 blocks from the ocean cliffs. Beautiful area for walking. Entire miraflores area is flat and easy to walk. Transportation to and from the airport was arranged by the hotel at our request and it was a very safe ride through crazy lima traffic. Really, really nice. The room was spacious, nice and clean. The bed was very confortable and crisp. I had a full bathroom which was very nice. I was most grateful for the opportunity to use the kitchen; the use of the refrigerator gave me the chance of storing my special diet items. Although I did not cook, I could have. Very diligent, efficient and simpathetic young staff. The hotel location: very discrete, close to the seaside, and out of the noisy Lima center. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Large private two bedroom, a lot of space to unpack and unwind. Large private bathroom. Within walking distance of many Trip Advisor acclaimed restaurants. Great breakfast included with room. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room was very comfortable, with good light and ventilation. The location was superb.The design and artistic touches of this hotel were great.The bed was huge and comfortable.We felt safe and welcomed. Wonderful location, just off the malecon. Our stay was really fantastic as far as the hotel and staff was concerned, but the neighbors played loud music all evening leading to a very groggy and tiring morning. It wasn't the hotels fault, but we went to bed blissfully happy with the whole experience, but left in the morning feeling groggy from being kept awake all night from the pounding techno!. Breakfast (7-11am) was fine, but limited choice if you're not there early. Although it is in Miraflores, it is not near the commercial center of the distric. In Lima you can go anywhere in taxi but the traffic is horrendous and moving around the city may take a good deal of your time. Poor breakfast (nevertheless the staff always did their best to attend our requests). In one night there was a rave party that didn't allow us to sleep. The rooms are a bit cold, looks like air conditioned only works to cool down. I wouldn't feel safe (as a female traveling with another female) unaccompanied wandering the streets around the hostel at night. Obviously. But the hostel is very close to a busy seaside road-- felt very safe walking this street at night (between 5 - 8pm). Had some trouble with the cable TV, but staff worked hard to resolve the issue, they got it working the next day. Taxi driver can not find easy. They could have more food on the buffet for breakfast. The dining area can be a little noisy and this can disturb people in the rooms around. The location is a bit far from main attractions. Odd furniture, very hard bed. Not as close to center of Miraflores as I would have liked.
