  After a week in Norway going through the fjords by car ( much more scenic than by boat and not as cold ! ) we experienced three " historic hotels " the Ullensvang, the Kviknes and the Union. Of the three , the Union is the only one which is a real historic hotel. The Ullensvang is very good , has existed for years but is a brand new building. The ... what people say » Kviknes must have been nice 100 years ago but they have ruined it ! The Union is true, late 19th century, full of charm, small enough not to attract l - The 1890 style rooms with beds of today - and NO TVs
