Our family apartment had two bedrooms, a living room with small refrigerator, bathroom, and large entry hallway with closet. It was difficult to find hotels in Oslo that could accommodate 5 adults in one room. The price was reasonable for 5 people by Norwegian standards. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet included a variety of options and we thought the food was good.
all reviews » We were in a suite with two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. Our family of 5 could all be in the same suite. Small refrigerator was useful. Breakfast buffet (included) and dinner buffet (NOK 195) were very good. The price of the dinner buffet seems high, but none of the restaurants in nearby Jessheim gave the same value for the price. Front desk clerk was very helpful even though it was one of his first shifts. Breakfast was ample/amazing. Very comfortable beds and nice room for a family of 5. - the breakfast is great, - quiet place, - excellent and helpful staff. Our suite was big enough for 6 persons. Breakfast started at 6. good location not far from the airport. underground parking. Hotel accommodation, breakfast etc is excellent. Suite room it was like an apartment. Close to the airport. value for money. Internet is much better then 2 years ago. Nothing at all!. nothing..... The hotel is located in Dal, not Gardermoen, as advertised on the letsbookhotel.com website. Our GPS had a hard time locating the hotel. The hotel was a little hard to find. It would be helpful to supply the coordinates on the letsbookhotel.com website. All hotels boast "Family Friendly" and then charge through the nose to bring your family. We are a family of 5 and find it harder and harder to get accommodations at a reasonable price for 5 people. We also stayed at this property on a "walk in basis" and we had to get 2 rooms. So much for one last "family" night on vacation. Wouldn't have been so bad if the rooms were at least adjoining or closer to each other. Only one person in charge of reception and breakfast so some items were not filled when finished. The hotel has a shuttle service from Oslo airport, but this was not advertised when coming to the hotel. A regular shuttle service to and from the hotel could be very useful, as taxi prices in Norway are forbidding. Difficult to find. location, to reach the nearest public transport system station need to spend a good money for taxi. recommend to improve breakfast bit with veg items. Food is awful, but I assume that the management doesn't care about the customers? They haven't changed anything regarding the food during the last 2 years. They charged 285$ pro night, when normal European price for this "service" is not much as €40. its too far away from the airport, there is no option provided to transport to the airport. The toilets smell very bad, the room temperature is impossible to change. If this had been a hostel I would have thought it was ok, as a best western hotel, I was expecting so much more.
