  From start to finish my stay was exceptionally good. On arrival I was asked if I would like to be upgraded to a penthouse suite and what a suite! Balcony overlooking the sea, spa bath, private kitchen and laundry facilities, absolutely superb.   Size of the room was great for us and the kids. The housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The room was spotless. The receptionist got someone to empty the minibar so we could use it ourselves and this was done almost immediately! A short walk to most of the things we wanted to see and do and a short drive to a great winery that we visited for brunch. Okurukuru is just devine. Hotel was Neat and clean and had friendly staff.

  The staff were all friendly and helpful. When it was noted on check-in that we had a lot of luggage our room was changed to a ground level room, noting there were no lifts. The decor was very modern and classy. We arrived too late for dinner but had a great meal in the large and open lounge/bar, where the bartender gave us good tips on beer. Add the that the proximity to the sea walk way and the city you have a great location. Plus they have complimentary access to a very good local gym.

  Everything! It was very clean and spacious (an extra table would be a plus however).   This was our first trip away with our two grandchildren and their mother. Thank you 299 for a very enjoyable stay. Everything was spot on! Very helpful and very friendly. The bed was as good as we have at home and we have a great bed. The whole unit was super clean.   The cleaners were great. When we arrived our room wasn't ready but didn't take them long to sort it. The front desk staff were very obliging, although the lady on checking out could have been a bit more friendly. A smile goes a long way!
