  The staff! The reception staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and hardworking. There was a man who worked in the bar on our first night (Saturday 6th July) who showed excellent customer service, was very helpful and attentive.   We were very lucky and were upgraded to a luxury apartment, which was wonderfully spacious with fabulous views over the lagoon. We had picked La Promenade because of its apartment accommodation. We wanted to be able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on our balcony and to enjoy watching the sunset in the evening. We felt La Promenade was ideally located, with Baie de Citron, re - The staff are professional and friendly and speak English well. They kindly arranged a return airport transfer for us, and also changed the batteries in our safe after check-in (which were low). The room was clean and tidy, and the view (7th floor in centre wing) was maginificent. We could see the sun set on Amedee Island lighthouse each evening. Note: you lease the apartment, so check everything works straight after check-in. Dishwasher tablets are 4 for 3000 Pacific francs. Bust stops for 70

  We stayed in the 16th floor in a 2 bedroom apartment which was so spacious and had all the amenities you could need (fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, etc). Our little girl slept beautifully in the supplied portacot in one bedroom. Great locale, right near the restaurants and beach. Coffee shop downstairs very hand... what people say » y (although only open mornings and afternoons for 2 hours each) and reasonably priced. We bought coffee, bread, croissants and milk and received chang - Location was great. Walking distance to the best beaches, restaurants, etc. and easy access to the local bus. Apartment was very spacious and clean, and the view was amazing.

  – The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished (we asked for one on the top floor, as it was our honeymoon, which we got - room 505 is on a corner and has views over the pool and out to sea, with a living and a bedroom and a huge balcony - I would recommend it) – the staff speak english and are friendly and helpful – free... what people say » wifi throughout the hotel plus 2 computers in reception – there is a nice small, heated pool and spa as well as a paddling pool and sun lounges – the - Great location, lots of restaurants and two boulangeries nearby. Only a 15-20 minute walk to Baie des Citrons which is better for swimming, and a bus stop 2 minutes walk away to take you to the city centre. The room was comfortable, had everything I needed and the staff were very friendly and patient with my stumbling French. The outdoor spa was perfect on winter afternoons.
