Great breakfast, owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good size and we even had large french doors that opened to a patio area. It was very pleasant for a small, cozy hotel. Very nice room, super friendly staff, good location. We met a very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us in several ways, e.g. possibility to leave luggage behind during the remainder of the check-out day and availability to purchase parking tickets. all reviews »
The size, comfort and cleanliness of our room, hotel location, value for money, good beds, good bathroom, free wireless internet, good public transport, good services nearby. Nicely furnished room. Easy parking outside the hotel. Friendly staff. nice host, good accessibility, well positioned, nice room. Comfortable beds. Room a good size. Room No. 9 (triple) is spacious, with parquet and has its own garden, an asset with small children. Very calm and at 300 metres from the beach.hotel is very old. Difficult to tell from the website the exact location in relation to the beach area. No extra amenities as in some larger hotels but we didn't expect that given the size(8 rooms). No free parking. No reception: sometimes difficult to communicate with staff when needed. Minibar not stocked and no-one was around to ask during the early evening. it was actually a bed and breakfast, not a 3 star hotel. plastic flowers in the room.The room could have been cleaner and was only cleaned superflously during our stay. No baby chair at the small breakfast restaurant. room is very poor.

From Central Station The Hague:
Tram 1 or 9 to Scheveningen. Get off at stop "Zwarte Pad" on the
Gevers Deynootweg. From here walk back 50 meters and you will find Hotel Gevers at your right side.
By car:
From all directions via Pr.Clausplein (A4/A12)
Direction The Hague (A12). Follow A12 until the end. On the T-cross turn right in the direction of Scheveningen/Wassenaar (Benoordenhoutse-weg). Turn left at the first cross in the direction of Scheveningen and after that follow direction Scheveningen-Bad. Hotel Gevers is located on your left side if you drive to the Zwarte Pad.
