  Staff were amazing, so welcoming and friendly and their English was perfect. The food was also amazing we had a meal for €8.50pp that was easily worth €20-25pp and this was the same story for every meal we had there. The location was perfect, you are no more than a 20min walk from any of the attractions in the town. This hotel is so good we have already pl - You might be shocked to realize that the hotel is above a bar, but don't worry about the noise. The rooms are quiet, clean, and tidy. There was a shower attached to the room, but the toilet is shared by all. Overall, the experience was very nice. The receptionist/bartender was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was just a perfect. Wifi comes with the place, just ask the bartender for the password

  Location was great - Valkenburg is a beautiful town and the railway station to go to Maastricht is just around the corner. Hotel was fairly cheap and had a great breakfast selection. - The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  The houseboat was exceptionally clean and the shared living space and kitchen were outstanding. The canal site was close to the city but felt remote enough to have all the serenity of the countryside.   The price was the main point, but also how it compares to in relation to other 2/3* hotels in the Benelux which is very good, quite individual. Also good location for someone who wants to be in the centre of Maastricht.
