view etc. Very large spacious room, facilities for kids, close to ferry and beach. cycling, sightseeing, nature trails. Breakfast....the spread was not appetising, coffee was cold and quite some time before we could locate someone to make a fresh pot although lady was very obliging.

The Caep Oost restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It is also possible to go there for a drink or to have a cup of coffee. The kitchen is orientated to fusion cooking. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a Chinese-Indian buffet. There is a special menu for children as well.

Travelling information

By Ferry:
In Harlingen, you can take the ferry to Vlieland. The ferry leaves 3 times a day during high season and twice in low season. The tour will take about an hour and a half. When you are on the island, you only have to walk straight ahead for 100 metres and you are near to the hotel.

The hotel can be easily accessed from the harbor. Go straight ahead, pass by the tourist office (VVV). Within 50 meters you will find the hotel at your left.

Free secured bicycle storages for all guests. The hotel can arrange renting bicycles on request (recommend). In most cases the rental fee is less than the boat ticket for a bicycle.
