Friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. staff friendly and helpful. location of hotel is excellent for visiting surrounding areas.Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. The hotel is close to the centre of the town and quiet. The reception staff was very friendly and trying to accomodate and help us.Only very minor points, just for consideration by the hotel management: bed had a pit in the middle (but yet I slept very well !), TV is difficult to get started, windows were quite small and high. Ithought the bathroom was poor. Rooms rather tired, need improvement. We requiered a non-smoking room, and clearly, someone had smoked in it but there was not another room to move to apart from a suite (empty). The owner didn't want us to use that room unless we had to pay a much higher price. For the price we paid, we would expect a "smarter" room. I didn't feel that I wanted to linger in it.The rooms were very shabby, small and uninviting. The entrance, lift, and corridors were also dark and shabby. Not a good hotel at all and very over priced.
