The owner was charming and helpful. The unit is on the top floor and is extremely spacious and light-filled. There is a large kitchen with all the pots, pans and implements you could need. There are several food stores a ten minute walk away, including a fish vendor with high quality seafood from Europe, Canada and Alaska.

Owner of the house is very friendly and kind. She prepared a bunch of flowers and a bowl of fresh plum planted by her own to welcome the guests. The whole floor is yours then. You can use the nespresso to make a coffee for your own. As located on the main but quite street, you can walk to the dom plaza whenever you wish to enjoy the young atmosphere there. While Central Museum of Utrecht is within walking distance in the other direction. Breakfast is served at the time you desired.

We loved the bathroom. The walk-in shower felt very luxurious and the towel warmer was great! We also loved that there was a mini-bar and a flat-screen tv in the room. The room opened directly onto the canal side and I could sit outside the room by the Nieuwegracht [new canal] on a foldup chair and cushion in the peace and quiet and so was a complete novelty experience. The room was large and very comfortable with a good bathroom - breakfast was at the Court Hotel in the next street which was not a problem. The
