  Mayflower is a nice hotel in a peaceful, small city. People at the reception are very kind. They are ready to answer to your all questions. The price is reasonable. The service is good. It is in the city center but not too far from the train station (only 5-minute walk).   The bed was comfy (memory foam) and the room spacious. Good air conditioning as it was 31 outside. The shower is a wet room type, clean and modern. Big fluffy white towels which we love. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.   The owner Gaston was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was well equipped, spacious with comfortable beds. A good breakfast was also provided. The location of the apartment was excellent, easy walking distance to the main hub of Leiden and its attractions, as well as the train station.
