Friendliness of all hotel staff, the feeling that I was staying at someone's home rather than a hotel. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the Lounge were great. All of the staff were gracious and solicitous. Our room, though without a canal or garden view, was beautifully designed and exceptionally quiet. One of the reasons we chose Canal House was the garden which exceeded our expectations as a comfortable and beautiful place to chill out, read and enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. As I needed to rest my foot one day, it was a particularly welcome amenity.

Everything, nice couple that was very nice and helpful in anything we asked, the apartment was big and comfy, we had there everything we needed and a big kitchen with everything you can ask for.
We had an amazing view to the lake, the apartment looked new and it was also renovated.
It was a bit expensive but if you compare it to Amsterdam's prices
