We booked it because it was cheap but we were surprised that the room was nice, with new furniture.Location was excellent.Right beside Vondelpark.We could basically walk to the Leidse square and the museums.I will certainly go back.
Rooms were small but well furnished.Curtains looked new and luxury.Smelt a bit of paint but all in all was very good for the low price which i paid.all reviews »
New interior,beautiful curtains, close to Vondelpark and Leidsesquare and very cheap for what we get.

A non uniformed gentleman (complete and utter stranger for all we knew) turned up and took our money off us.
Although we did not opt for breakfast there was no sign of where we would eat it , if we did !
All in all if it wasn't for the amazing time we had in the city , the accommodation was extremely under par and we would never reuse vondel park bed and "breakfast".
It was adequate for us. The room consisted of 3 beds and a bin which is all we needed. The tram was right outside the front door which was perfect.

Bed and breakfast normally means breakfast is included in the price with the room. (it does in my eyes anyway). Nothing was said by The member of staff about breakfast. We booked a room for 3 people, yet the first room only accommodated 2 people, one double bed. The second room was exactly the same but with a fold out bed. The rooms are for couples not for larger parties. Not impressed with how they sorted out.
Room was sparce and expensive.
Didn't like anything other than the bathroom.

only 1 toilet and bathroom for all to share. Room very basic, furniture a mix of ikea and french antique,shandlier thick with dust and not fixed to ceiling properly, 1euro for a towel that had stains on it, very, very steep stairs, very thin sheets on bed, quite cold. Rate it 3/10.

Not really clean, dirts, windows broken.
At the moment when we arrived there was just one guy in the hostel (seems he was the only staff member in the hostel), completely unprofessional. The hostel don't have reception, so when you wanna ask some questions actually you cant. No towels in the room, which should be even if its just hostel. In general - we wouldn't recommend this hostel for staying.

Rude staff dirty bathroom dirty bedding dirty bedroom a dirty towel will
cost you 1 euro. So we get there, ringing the bell for 5 minuets, get
out the confirmation and call the hotel to let us in. The lady I spoke
to was really rude, didnt understand why. I know the place was cheep,
but this was my 8th trip to ams and never had such a bad experience with
accommodation, sorry Vondelpark B&B.

- Very noisy environment
- Hotel, rooms and surrounding don't look anything like the photos on the website
- A sterile white 3 x 3m room with two beds. No decoration or accessoires what so ever.
- Very dangerous and steep stairs with loose railings.
