Light décor, a seating area and flat-screen cable TV are provided. Guest-Houseboat also has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, electric hob and a Senseo coffee machine. The modern bathroom has a shower and hairdryer.
The Guest-Houseboat is 15 minutes’ walk from Dam Square which features the Royal Palace and the start of the famous Kalverstraat shopping street. The Anne Frank House is 10 minutes’ walk from the studios.

We booked the Guest-Houseboat for our 12th anniversary because we wanted to stay somewhere special and it certainly exceeded our expectations!
We've visited Amsterdam many times before, but we felt that staying here gave us a completely different perspective on this beautiful city.
Although it's located only a 15-20 minute walk from Dam Square and the central shopping area, it felt like a different world - much quieter, and a lovely local neighbourhood.

I have never stayed in a houseboat before. I was not disappointed. It was a great apparment on the canal. Great view through the large windows. Excellent facilities. Very comfortable bed, good kichenette and excellent bathroom. Close to everything, shops, resaurants, but not noisy - just the right balance. I was on a business trip, but plan to go back in the Spring with my wife. Paul and Patricia were terrific in helping out and providing advice. Great service!.
Great location in the Jordaan district, with nice cafes and shops but quiet at the same time. The appartment in the house boat is really nice and clean. The owners were very helpful and recommended the best places to eat around(best apple pie in winkels). They also kept our baggage before check-in and after check-out. Also they welcomed us with wine and beer on the house. The views from the boat house are beautiful. Strongly recommend when visiting amsterdam.
Marvellous location, close to station, cafes and shops. Owner very attentive and provided lots of information. Facilities are comfortable, modern and clean, much better than an apartment. While there is a TV we were happier to look out the picture windows at the canal, boats, sea birds, very old buildings and bridges and people walking and cycling by. Even so it was quiet and relaxing. We would be very happy to stay here again.
It is an ideal way to enjoy Amsterdam! Excellent location – safe at night, close to centre, restaurants, market and bakery just behind the corner. The room was clean, very comfortable, clean towels, clean kitchen and utensils; complimentary juices, beer and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Amazing canal view, swans and ducks swimming to window asking for food...Many thanks to Paul – he was so friendly and made us so welcome.
Paul met us at the houseboat and was very welcoming and informative. The houseboat's location was fabulous, a very short stroll to a main street, but was quiet and safe at night. The view was amazing, and sitting on the deck, we could just watch the world go by. Well done Paul and Co, a real winner for us, we'll be back!.
The owners were exceptionally nice and accommodating, going out of their way to help you with whatever it is you need. The houseboat is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We would for sure stay here again!.
Excellent accommodation. Clean, modern and inviting. The owners do a great deal to make your stay a pleasant one. Excellent location with local shops bars etc. quiet at night too!! Perfect :-).
The management of the guest houseboat was excellent; very well organised and really friendly too. The boat is in a great location and has all you need for a short stay in Amsterdam.
Unique experience. Being right on a canal was very interesting. Diana and Paul were very helpful and the boat/apartment was well appointed.

At the beginning of my stay the Wi-fi was definitely not good - but Patricia - bless her - contacted the supplier and voila! - the Wi-fi service improved vastly and was great.

Seemed to be setup for look rather than function. Tiny toilet had a sink right in the way, with nowhere to put a hand towel.
