Location - in the heart of the town but the room was very quiet, excellent staff, good room equipment (iron, kettle, good choice of tv channels). fabulous location , good size rooms, everything you need in rooms, would stay here again comes highly recommended.very friendly check-in desk staff. Excellent restaurant. service. Location was great for sight-seeing, Hotel had a lovely ambiance, will stay there again. Enjoyed the breakfast for its fruit and fresh juice offering - although I have seen better "spreads" in similar rated AMS hotels. Very comfortable, non smoking room - reception airy and spacious but smokey - can't wait for the no smoking rule to come into force in AMS. Staff very friendly and courteous.

There was some construction near by so the room was noisy.When I booked in I was told it was a twin room even though it stated on my booking it was a double room so that was not a good start and then to be told I should have rung ahead. Late night room service menu was limited.The breakfast buffet is extremley expensive. even if wireless internet connection, I coudln't get connected from my room.light bulb needed replacing (desk lamp), drawer handle broken (safe drawer). The booking rate did not agree with the hotel charge rate for the 2nd consecutive time ! Fortunately, this time I checked the price on check-in, rather than being delayed on check-out. You need to fix this i.e. align your prices between yourselves. Fortunately, on both occasions, I paid only your lower rate.The room was small for the price, wiew is poor. It was very expensive and i had problems with the check-in. I orginally booked a delux room but upgraded to Business for an extra charge per night to get a bigger bed and room which was still nothing special , it was terrible value for money would not stay in this hotel again. Delux room are just Standard rooms ... dont be fooled , business room have a bigger bed and that about it They are charging 5 star rates for a 3 star service.

Please contact the Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam directly if you would like to stay with more than two people in one room and if you have any other special requests. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation. Extra beds are only available upon request and against a supplement charge. All special requests are only guaranteed after confirmation from the hotel. Please be informed that a refundable security deposit of EUR 50 per day is authorized upon arrival. This deposit is intended to cover for damages and extras taken in the hotel. The hotel will check the validity of the credit card. If the credit card is proven to be invalid, you will be provided 24 hours to provide the hotel with a new valid credit card. The credit card holder must be present upon arrival with the credit card used for the booking. If a credit card of a third party is used, a signed authorization form of the credit card owner is mandatory. This is only applicable for a company credit card, not for personal credit cards. Making a reservation for the private parking garage is recommended. A maximum height of 190 cm is allowed in the parking and it costs EUR 55 per day. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of EUR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
