La Remise was a wonderful place to stay for our two days in Amsterdam. Breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful in directing us to sights and restaurants within the city. The neighborhood was tucked away just enough from the bustle of the city, but was a very short walking distance to all the action. La Remise is in a quiet street but close to all the activities. The well designed room/bathroom was 'roomy', warm and very comfortable and the served morning breakfast set us up for the day.Our charming host was very helpful: offering advice on places to visit or where to go to eat. I/we would recommend this place to couples. La Remise is quite special.

The B&B location is great. The room was spacious and the bath/wet room one of the nicest we have had.
Owner very friendly and the breakfast was good with eggs made to order. Would highly recommend this B&B.
La Remise was lovely, spotlessly clean and breakfast was adequate. The location was about 25 minutes walk from the train station which we really liked. Alex was always very helpful.
Although there is no reception at La Remise on our agreed time of arrival we were met and shown our 'white room', a nice big room. Terrific breakfast. Easily accessible by tram.

Please be aware that there are very steep stairs to access the rooms.

Some confusion to pick up key and breakfast timings, staff is not always available, so hard to contact them if you have a questions about it.
(ex; we had no towels for a day after the hotel forgot to put new ones and we had no clue how to contact the staff to resolve it).
