That the hotel was clean, had a nice bar - restaurant on the ground floor and was close to the city center. Friendly staff, it´s easy to reach important places by foot. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff. It was claen and the staff spoke English. Spacious room and the refrigerator in the room. Friendly hotel staff. Ease of transport. Direct tramway to center, silence, many various restaurants in the surrounding. kindness of the staff. Convenience. Though a little remote, the location is not bad (near Plantage area).The room has a fridge, so I could keep fresh food in it.no lifts alot of inding stairs. The noise that the trams created outside my room early in the morning.The trams outside may be disturbing if you are sensitive to sound. There were no problems sleeping if I had the windows closed though. The hotel has no isolation. You can hear people talking on the corridor, trams outside, everything. There was no wireless internet and the airport pickup was offered by public services and not by hotel.bathroom (too small and not that clean). Rather shabby entrance and steep stairs. It was shabby, more like the youth hostels I stayed in last summer in France with my daughter. Only choose it if you don't mind steep, narrow stairs. Steep staircase. Cold at night, poor quality of shover room. Mattress were not good at all, TV was not working well, safe was not working, shower had no separation and everything got water splash. They had problem checking me in. The room was booked by my wifet on my behalf. I was listed as the guest on the booking. But the receptionist asked to see my wife's passport - who was not with me. Not clean, especially the bathroom; as if lazy people only clean thesurface. The water got obstructed on the floor. Though the rate seemscheap in Amsterdam, but actually not good value of money: no breakfast.Mouldy, stinky bathroom. Arrogant staff in response to our complaint.
