All comfortable rooms have artworks above the bed and a bathroom with an extra deep bath or rain shower. Westcord Art Hotel Amsterdam includes a unique art collection of the famous Dutch painter Herman Brood. There is a terrace with a bar which overlooks the lush grounds.The ART Brasserie offers à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bikes can be rented at the hotel. The hotel is situated 1.5 km from the Westerpark, where restaurants and cultural activities can be found. Business park Westpoort is nearby. The Hempoint bus stop is located directly opposite the hotel and offer direct services to the city centre in 5 minutes. The city centre is at 2 km distance and Schiphol Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

all reviews » It was a very modern hotel with nice amenities in a safe and pleasant neighborhood. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. This is probably our 18th visitto Amsterdam and we have always stayed in the centre, in tiny rooms at4-5 star hotels. Therefore, it was stunning to see the size of the room,which is brand new, with a huge desk. Both of us could easily work atthe desk, and when we asked for an extra chair (on wheels) it wasbrought to the room within 10 minutes.Very good hôtel, design. Bus for the city just in front of the entry, in 10 minutes in the central station. And with taxi 15 euros. Just take the bus but for a very good quality. Good deal. wonderful rooms, free wi-fi internet, quiet zone, easy access to city center by bus or 15 minutes walk.the rooms are beautifully decorated and clean; staff was friendly. - large, clean and comfortable room and bathroom, very quiet. I was not impressed with the buffet breakfast there were no bacon or sausages as advertised and the hash browns were a little on the burnt side therefore we did not return for breakfast the following day.room service. far away from city. The 10 minute bus ride into the city was very easy to do, but if you want to walk out of your hotel and be in the mix, then this is not the hotel for you.Wasn't as close to downtown as mentioned, plus the shower of our room wasn't very clean. Pretty dirty and should be sealed new with silicon. But either then that the room was nice. Cleanliness of the room could be better (dust, cigarette stains on the sofa...). service in the restaurant, they closed at 22.30 instead of 23.00. I cannot understand why an international hotel in AMS does not exchange US$ and why I cannot charge two Euros (cash) to my account so that I can feed the outside parking meter. Instead, your staff sends me to Amsterdam's main station to change two Euros for the parking meter.Staff were very unhelpful. Main bed far too soft!!! Had to sleep on window sofa. Roomsservice meals were repulsive, yet restaurants were ok; no helpwith luggage to rooms!. I had booked a non-smoking room but they told me at the reception they did not had a non-smkong room anymore. After long discussions , they told me that they finally were willing to give me a non-smkong room of a higher category for the same price. But I was several times in the hotel and the room I got was for a me standard room (so the same as I had booked). So I don't believe their story.... The mattresses were too soft and very uncomfortable and they kept coming apart.The heating did nt work. Blood stain on one mattress. No mattress protecors were used. The blinds in the room let in too much light.The room did not reach our 4* expectations.Changed my booking from Ibis Hotel to G.Tulip, thinking on a better service and confort. This was a very bad choice. At G.Tulip we had bad service, and cleanliness was bad. Piles of dirty sheets and bottles of beer in the corridor floor all day round. Breakfast was very bad for the money (15 euros), and again we had breakfast with dirty tables, and leftovers in the floor.
