My husband and I recently stayed here (May 2013). We loved it. All of
it. We would love to visit again. The homeowners are amazing, friendly
and very accommodating. The cottage is located on miles and miles of
cycling and running trails (my personal paradise). You are in the middle
of the country and only a 9km cycle into the center of Amsterdam. A view
out the kitchen window each more morning I could see bunnies, ducks,
various types of birds (it’s a bird lovers paradise!) and many other

The location is brilliant. 10-12 min drive to the the city or ca. 6-7 min to the Park & Ride. Then you can take a tram and in 10 mins you are at the Central Station. The cottage is tiny but has everything you need in a cool design. The surroundings are very nice with nature and canals. You can sit on the small terrace and enjoy the multitude of birds and the nice canal. The village next door is pretty and has one restaurant (no breakfast!). Everything is just perfect.
Perfect place to stay. A park and ride to Amsterdam is just 5 minutes far; the cottage is well equipped, clean, near a colourful watermen's village and in a beautiful reserve. The owner is kind, very attentive but discrete.
Hosts were very friendly, offered lots of advice and even gave us lifts to the local tram stop! Great location, close to city, but far enough away to feel very different.

Privacy. Only you in the house. Quiet area, but not far from the city. Nice surrounding. View of beautiful sunset everyday.
everything is just excellent!! two thumbs up!.
The only thing I would suggest is that it would have been a bit better
if the cottage had bikes on hand for the guests. (Otherwise, you have to
go in town to rent a bike - not a deal breaker).
Everything was perfect. It's better to have a car or a bike.
if breakfast and bicycle is included would be perfect.
