The hotel had soundproofed rooms, which are necessary in Tangier. Stayed in another hotel in the same area and there was a lot of noise, incredibly tiring. The beds in IBIS is good and the wifi worked well. What impressed me most was the breakfast. Simple with good quality. Very good job by the staff during breakfast. They made constantly replenished. You can even enjoy a delicious espresso coffee during breakfast. Seen hotel manager several times during my stay. I think unfortunately this is n.

Our dinner was surprising very tasteful. And the location of the hotel was perfect, we were easily able to walk to the train station within 10 minutes. Perfect position nearby the train station. They have a car parking just in front of the hotel and very spacious rooms. It's an Ibis style hotel, with every comfort and a very good price. One block from the train station. The room is not large, regular size. Very basic. It has a cafeteria and a small swimming pool. Location is good. 5 min. away from the train station and beach. Pool towels didn't clean enough.. Getting off the bus transfer from Tangier Med port to Tangier Port. It was total chaos. And all the taxi drivers do their best to rip off Westerns including ourselves. Tangier is only worth an overnight stay to help you get to your next destination. The towels in the bathroom were very old, very worn. They should get new towels as soon as possible. The day we stayed at the hotel there was just one waiter in the restaurant and many people who wanted to get service. Overpriced breakfast and dinner. Hotel bar has very limited choices. Towels ..... Lots of things you do not expect of the regular Ibis quality. Unattentive and uninformed staff, filthy swimmingpool, matresses which are not properly placed, breakfast with lots of stuff lacking or not working (the cornflakes machine). If this is the new Ibis quality I would not recommend Ibis anymore. Location - 40 min walk to medina. Needed a good cleaning, also towels were dingy, grey threadbare and frayed. We are not really picky, but found these towels to be pretty disgusting and untypical of a large chain. Except one rest of the staff was lazy.
