We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. He carried our four cases to our 3 separate rooms; helped me park and exit my large car in the small hotel garage;advised us on shopping and places of interest;arranged a surprise taxi tour of Tangier and surrounding area, all without holding his hand out for payment. Unfortunately I do not have this gentleman's name to acknowledge him properly, but he is constantly on duty, so cannot be missed. Central position. Clean rooms. Tasty dinners.
all reviews » Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes, helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help. The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price. The staff was very helpful answering all our questions and supplying us with contacts for services outside of the hotel. They seemed intent on making our stay trouble-free. Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view over the port and further. Even the buffet breakfast was a bargain having all that was needed to start our day. Have stayed here a few times and the place is a very good option right smack in between the new and the old parts of the city. If you want a fake Lacoste you go 10 minutes to the Medina and if you want a reel one there shop is two minutes down the road. Short walk to the beach and stunning sea views from the breakfast room. 24 hour reception very helpful with those crazy ferries running late & arriving 50km from city. They were there and helpful with taxi driver when I arrived at 1am. Lovely bathtub, comfortable bed, luxurious surroundings and incredible breakfasr buffet. Centrally located too. We had excellent rooms and the pool and other facilities were excellent. This is in a great location, close to the medina and good restaurants. Breakfast was good and pool area was very nice. I thought the rooms were big and nice. I would spend a little more for a sea view -it was worth it. Location is good. Pool area is really nice. For the money it was a good value. Lobby area is also a smoking area. It stinks. Experimental jazz in breakfast room. Not a good start unless you are a fan... Very small windows so hard to enjoy sea view. Ridiculous door locks which made everyone need to slam their doors to make them close. general impression a bit grey, some neglect in the facilities, breakfast team quickly overwhelmed and breakfast quality mediocre. outdated. I was there in January, high humidity, in all corners some mould. Old.
