The lady who owns the place is very kind and helpful, we felt very welcome and she gave us great advice on how to enjoy the city. She's also the president of a local association who helps women to work. We felt as part of the local community, as we went to the local hammam and dealt with local carpet and jewel producers. Breakfast was excellent in a breathtaking terrace, the room was just lovely, clean and comfortable.
all reviews » The views from the terrace of the riad are outstanding. It looks out over the kasbah dwelling as well as the countryside. The room itself was okay. It was a bit dark and the bathroom needs upgrading. Breakfast was superb. We were served a copious amount of food with a variety of breads, pancakes, boiled eggs and yogurt. It was delicious. The owner and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. They came to guide us (we were driving a rented car) very quickly, because the location is in the old medina, and not easy to find by our own means. Breakfast on the terrace was great, with a wonderful view of the kasbah. Its right in the kasbar/ksar, beautiful views nice breakfast atmospheric rooms, best thing is how friendly and helpful all the people are, everyone knows each other and will help you if you say your at rose noir. Staff very nice. One of the nicest and best equiped riads we stayed in on our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us a bottle of water when we arrived (from the desert) and fixing our air conditioning without our asking. Rose Noire is lovely. The location is amazing and the owner is so proud of her beautiful hotel. You will feel at home and love her wonderful home cooking. Don't think twice! Book it and have a marvellous experience. The Riad is located close to the Kashba, absolutly friendly owners and staff! A very good breakfast is served on the roof of the riad overlooking Ouarzazate - we enjoyed every minute!. Great location in the old town. Nice facilities with a nice terass for breakfast or just to relax and big rooms. Also liked that they had staff that spoke english in a good way. The Riad was stylish, and restful. The room was spacious, with a clean modern bathroom and had a bath. Furnishings were traditional and staff were welcoming and helpful. Wonderful place and amazing staff. Highly recommended. The building is fantastic and has a fabulous view of the near by kasbah. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a triple room, which was just slightly small for three people and maybe there was not enough hot water for 3 showers in one morning. But then, this is just a minor detail, considering the excellent price and the fact that everything else was perfect. We stayed for one night. The location is a bit difficult to find via car. We have GPS, but the riad is located "off-map" in the middle of local kasbah dwelling. We initially parked at a nearby public parking lot, and the attendant called the riad to have someone show us the way. Asked for a none smoking room but a full ashtray inside on arrival, the map on letsbookhotel.com and google bears no relationship to the actual location of the hotel!. Not the easiest place to find (see earlier reviews for tips). Little tricky to find the way back to the riad, since the old city looks like a labyrint. N/A. Parts could have been cleaner - just a little dusty and hair from the shower had been left on the side from the previous guest. We got bitten quite a lot which is understandable due to the location but a mosquito net over the bed or at the windows would be beneficial. A little bit hard to find, but absolutely no problem at all.
