We stayed one week in this Riad and had a fantastic stay! - rooms are simple (no fancy items like radio or TV), but very clean (towels are changed daily, beds are made up daily, no crawling animals besides the cute turtle in the courtyard) and decorated lovely in traditional Marrocon style - bathroom is very clean, comes with flush toilet and hot water with good water pressure - beds are firm and queensized - the inside of the riad is very clairaudient (if people come home late or have conversa.
all reviews » We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the riad and would come back anytime. Brigitte and her staff were very helpul and friendly & zarah is a great cook. The rooms are all decorated beautifully and the entire building was redone in great style. I loved the rooftop terrasse. The riad is located in the medina where it is only a few min from the big place - even for me it was easy to find ;-). Well appointed with very nice terrace for breakfast or resting during the day. The staff were all very nice but apart from Rachid who wasn't there all the time they had almost no English and my French wasn't good enough to communicate. We were able to organise an early breakfast on the day we left so that was handy. A beautiful and tranquil riad! Lovely escape from the busy streets outside. Staff very friendly and helpful (although it does help if you can speak French as they speak very little English!) defiantly recommend staying at riad sharmance- you even get a pet tortoise whilst you stay :). It is a very nice riad, owned by a young french family. The riad is completely restored in 2010. It is cosy and clean. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The location in the middle of the Medina is at the same time fine for exploring the city and peacefull and quiet for relaxation. Very pleasant accommodation, clean with comfortable beds. Good breakfast. The transfer from the airport is worth the money. Raschid met the taxi accompanied by a man with a trolley for the luggage. We would not have found the Riad without that service. A place of peace and quiet even though close to the centre. Prepare to get lost!. excellent Hotel tasty Breakfast friendly staff good location. Nice and peaceful, safe and clean,. quiet Riad. The riad was hard to find the first time and the dark alley was offputting at night. Wifi was very iffy. Had to stand on the balcony to get reception and it was still poor. Don't be put off by slightly scary alleyway you have to walk down to get to riad- it's worth it at the end!. Only Raschid speaks any English. Wi Fi is patchy, only works in the public space and is better during the day. Very hidden location, paid 100 dh for a boy to bring us there... ( literatelly 2 minutes walk)... Please Google search and use Google Map before traveling .. maybe better to pay taxi to find the hotel... (Staff do not speak English, French only)!. you need to walk through a dark dirty alleyway to get to the hotel. no wi-fi in the rooms only buy the office/reception. checking out is not at 6pm you have to leave at 12pm. break fast very basic. Most of the time there is no one at the road, coming back at night our key wasn't working we where stuck in the dark alley. No good valley for money.
