Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The rhiad is very pretty and full of character. Although just a 5 min walk from the busy streets, the location is very quiet and therefore you feel very relaxed when you return. The staff treat you like one of the family and cater for your every whim. No strict meal times. You don't need a key, just ring the bell any time and someone lets you in! Food is homecooked and tasty, with generous portions. The massage was wonderful and great value for money. Mint.
all reviews » Mostapha was an incredible host welcoming us late in the evening like family with traditional Moroccan tea and an orientation to Marrakech. He was a great guide on our first day trying to find our way through the alleys, souks and squares of the Medina. The room was authentic and comfortable and the roof deck is worth visiting to see/hear/feel the city. A terrific introduction to the old city. Wonderful experience - highly recommended. We liked everything about this Riad and we loved the staff. It is small, only 5 rooms and beautifully kept, clean and well looked after. The rooms were good with excellent beds and the breakfast was super. The location is good - very close to everything but hard to find. I would advise paying the Riad for the transfer on the way in. It is not expensive. We would thoroughly recommend this Riad. Excellent Hospitable staff, great rooms and decor (we had the Saphire suite 2 adults & 3 children), quite location, great breakfast, great service, very flexible with checkout timming. All round this is a great place to stay for couples and family, highly recommended & the owner was very pleasent. The place was beautiful and the staff VERY friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! It is located just minutes walk from a city centre that has an intense cultural impact completely different to those living in a western society. Great value for money. Great experience!. We love the staff especially manager Mostapha is the best. He showed us how to reach to the big square and he recommended places for eating. We felt like a part of a family. Hotel is very authentic. The staff is just amazing, incredibly available to assist you with anything you might need (thank you Mustafa!). The breakfast is definitely the high moment of the Ryad. Service is 5 star and PLUS. Our family really enjoyed the stay at the riad and excellent service provided by Mustafa and other staff. The old building and the oriental look inside. We also enjoyed the food, the friendly staf and the fine service. Service was impeccable ! Made to feel increadibly welcome, spoke great English and made our stay !. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was very interesting. The friendliness of the staff. We stayed in a family room. It is quite big and very traditional atmosphere...we loved it. Finding the hotel would be impossible alone and parking is outside of the old city. Arrange meeting a guide/porter before your arrival with the hotel to bring your gear and guide you to the Riad. It is a 15-20 minute walk through the medina through narrow streets with scooters, cars, and donkey carts so be prepared for some "adventure" even on your way in. Probably best to arrive during daylight hours. Lights were not fully functional. Air conditioning in the kids room was leaking water inside the room quite badly. Hot tub didn't get that hot. For those who are light sleepers, a Riad may not be the best place for you as the rooms are not constructed for sound isolation. Nothing worth noting. some minor problems with the draining system and air conditioning. Drains smell a bit but this seems to be a problem everywhere in the old town in Marrakesh. No privacy in the toilet. One of the rooms was very dark. Water took to long to drain from the shower. The walk from the road to the Riad took about 10 minutes. The air conditioner in a room(with twin beds) wasn't working. TV didn't have any channel...only one channel was working. The shower sink was stuck and water didn't go throw well. Need to be fixed.
