I absolutely loved staying at the Doceur Mandarine. The rooms were particulary good. I stayed in the DZIRA room. Loved having dinners and breakfasts on the roof terrace. This place i cant recommend highly enough to other travellers. It is located in the medina but it was so quiet at night and even during the day. It was very well located within the medina too. Loved it thank you. . The owners - Stephane and Sylvie were so welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.The other staff were very friendly and helpful too.We were made to feel very at home. We were there over the Christmas period and the food and hospitality was superb. Certainly a memorable stay.

I loved the rooftop terrace with its view across the city and the snow-capped mountains. The location was excellent. It was a perfect place to stay in Marrakech. Clean room and helpful staff. Specially the sheets. Location. Since it was during winter-time, the small pool as well as the jacuzi on the roof, available on the internet pictures, were inop... The price doesn't seem that cheap if you compare to other local prices but considering the overall quality, it was excellent and as an example: one big salad meal and tea with pastries (which was very carefully prepared, as my wife is pregnant...) were...There was a person who kept ringing the door bell for about 15 minutes at three o'clock of the middle of the night, and sleep was disturbed a little. hard to find (no sign). There were a few little things that didn't work quite right but nothing major. It was all part of the charm and they were quickly attended to. It was a bit difficult to find in the Medina. Make a better map where to find it. Hard to find. Although they’re self proclaimed Gay Friendly, in reality they’reclearly not. Felt unwelcome and was glad to leave.
