Riad Anya is located at the heart of the medina, a 10-minute walk from the souks and Jamaâ El Fna Square. It offers views over the Atlas Mountains, a swimming pool in the patio and a hot tub on the terrace. Guest rooms are individually decorated, each with a contemporary, Moroccan décor. All rooms have a private bathroom with amenities and some also feature a seating area. A typical, Moroccan breakfast is served every morning. Meals can be enjoyed in the living rooms or on the terrace. Professional massages are also available on site.

The riad was lovely, very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a 10-15min walk to the main square and souks and my friend and I felt fairly safe walking around even at night (once we got used to the crazy traffic around the medina!). The breakfast was also quite nice - mainly sweet things like pancakes, french toast and cakes which I wouldn't normally eat for breakfast but it was nice as a holiday treat anyway! all reviews » The location of Riad Anya is very central and in a safe,quiet area, the decor of the riad was fabulous,with many shaded areas with comfortable seating just perfect for relaxing.the roof terrace was ideal for catching the sun and the pool just perfect for cooling off.The twin room on the first floor we shared was spacious , airy , comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a different selection everyday. Everyone was .really friendly and helpful, we felt extremely happy and relaxed. Authentic, beautiful setting right in the heart of the Medina. Friendly, helpful staff with some English. After midnight, I was lost and I had a great help from the staff to find the ryad. One of the prayer towers was right next to the riad and every dawn the prayer call went on for 20 mins which woke us up and couldn't sleep again afterwards. The shower flooded and got blocked up when we used it, but they fixed this and then it was fine. There was nothing to dislike about this Riad,it was perfect for us. The water wasn't always hot enough for two consecutive showers. It varied depending on the time of day. This was also the case in other hotels we stayed in Morocco. The roof terrace was not really useable except that one could go up there just to admire the view towards the city centre and the gardens of the Mamounia Hotel, and to hear the birds singing. No kind of service on the roof terrace was possible, at least during our stay. The shower head in our room was not mounted so had to be hand held. Parking is quoted by the riad as being 2 euros/24 hrs, but it is actually around 4 euros (but this is not really a problem!). The taxi transfer was overpriced. The taxi was late and didn't drop us off at the riad. The taxi driver let his friend show us to the door and then he demanded money. We were charged for the return transfer to the airport which we had declined due to the cost. They reimbursed us but we didn't get the full amount back. Food at the riad also incredibly overpriced and nothing special. Price for transportation is too expensive. Food was good but a little pricey. Not enough hot water and slow drains in the showers.
