Leo, Salee and Rasheed were exceptional host!!! Riad 34 was key in making our stay in Marakech a magical one. I hope to one day come back and stay here again and see this wonderful Riad and these wonderful people. The riad itself was truly charming. The rooms was very very comfortable. The breakfast they served was nothing but exceptional. I truly felt like we entered as valued customers and left as friends. They truly know how to treat their guests!.
all reviews » We highly recommend the Riad 34 as by its position in the Medina but away from the crowd in a quiet, warm and unforgettable hospitality and attentive Youness. It is also a good value / quality / price. This Riad is not very big but enough for a family or for friends who would like to share moments of intimacy without the impersonal hotels. nice terrace for breakfast, a pleasant setting, decor in the Moroccan style, feel free to book the Riad 34. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and also good for a chat! Breakfast was delicious! The riad is very well located, about a 10 minute walk (almost in a straight line so it is hard to get lost) from the main square The area felt very safe because there was security personnel hired by the local raids to make sure tourists get home safely at night. Sadly there was a mix up with the booking and there was no room available when I showed up. The owner also ran another very nice riad close by so he paid for a taxi to take me there and gave me an triple room to myself at the same price. Really lovely and friendly people. I would stay there again with no hesitation. Top marks!. Riad 34 is a charming place to stay in Marrakesh. The location in the Medina is excellent. The staff is great! They will help you with anything you ask. Breakfast is tasty and filling with excellent coffee. This is good value. Very friendly welcome from the owner. Amazing value for money for a lovely riad, good location, would definitely stay again!. Lovely clean and comfy and helpful staff. the room, the bathroom, the cleaness. Beautiful riad. The staff were very nice, especially Rasid was very helpful for pretty much everything. Good breakfast with orange juice, tea/coffee, some pastries and jams. There is new air conditioner which should be useful for warmer seasons. 15 mins walk to the main square. Good, although a bit hidden location, u would not find it on your own in a hundred years, clean, decent place, good breakfast, nice folks at reception. it is difficult to find at first time . The shower was a bit creepy but we were in the cheapest room and the lovely staff more than made up for it. We can't think of any complaints. All good. Stairs and baggage!..but that's just part and parcel of travelling in Europe and Africa!. without heater it's too cold, if you leave hotel early in the morning they don't prepare you the breakfast (a bit of jam, bread and tea). There is only a partial wall separating the toilet/bathroom from the room, so no privacy. Even though the riad was refurbished, the bathroom, especially the shower was in a very bad condition with mould all around.The room was cold as it is december, heated with the air conditioner, which requires to leave it on all night, noisy...Even though we had no problems, neighborhood felt a bit creepy late in the night which I wouldn't advise for a solo traveler. Room with two chairs but no table, I intended to work some, but had to do it on the bed... no reading light at the bed, it would be a nice touch to augment the attention to quality hosting.
