Well located in the heart of Marrakech, walking distance to the train station, plenty of restaurant, fast food joints, coffee shops near by. Quiet room and nice view to the pool. Pleasant staff. The location of the hotel is perfect. Lots of restaurants etc. close by and an easy trip into the centre of town. Located in a good area, staff very helpful, the price is good, also rooms are comfortable.
all reviews » This is a clean, comfortable and friendly hotel within easy reach of all the main sights. It was very good for the price - and could not easily be improved, except...... I liked the swimming pool. For the price we paid it was a nice hotel. We paid 3 euro per person for the breakfast. The croissant and bread was indeed a bit dry as previously indicated, but the orange juice was good and the people were very friendly. We had some trouble finding the hotel, but we could park the car in the parking garage with some nice help from a man. We paid 60 Dirham from the city to the hotel (after 20.00). Located in a good area. We got a good deal for 3 nights. Far enough away from the mayhem of the Medina but only a short taxi ride (about 20DM) to the centre. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Very clean; good location close to train station, medina and other things; nice pool area; decent breakfast buffet. The hotel was in a very good position for the city centre and within easy walking distance. Staff were helpful. Friendly staff. Good location within walking distance from Marrakesh train station. It was reasonably priced for what it is. It is ok for the rates, has a nice swimming pool, to cold in the date I went, rooms are comfortable. Nothing. Finding your room can be a task. The hotel is a like labyrinth, it takes a while to find your room. Poor hygiene in the rooms, especially the bathroom tubs, I don't think it gets scrubed, found hair in it. Drinking glasses on top of the sink is disgusting. Bed sheets are clean,I suspect if they ever wash the blanket. Water isn't hot enough. For hygienic reasons I'll never go back to that hotel again. Very little wi-fi connection. Bar very small and barman not very welcoming. Do not like not being able to run up a bar bill against the room number. Having to pay in cash every time you order a beer is very inconvenient and unusual. Also more tourist information at reception is needed - like a street plan of Marrakech. .... a lift would be nice, as the stairs were high and steep!. The rooms need to be modernised,air con not very cold,the bar had no ice or cold beer.the breakfast had no cheese or fruit. The rooms were relatively small (but we paid 35 euro for the double, so wht can you expect in the middle of a major city). We could not bring 2 bottles of water into the hotel, but they were delivered to our room later in the evening (!?). When we had to pay for the room they used a ridiculously high conversion rate from Dirham to euro. However, we had euro's so we could circumvent that trick.The swimming pool is extremely cold, but the kids still loved it. Rude and unhelpful reception and bar/restaurant staff almost without exception - do not rely on them for any help or advice. (The cleaning staff were great!) Terrible wifi signal - not available in rooms and very weak or non- existent everywhere else. Small, not very comfortable beds and difficulty getting hot water through the shower every morning. We had half-board booking, although breakfast was very basic it was ok. The evening meals however were limited (only two choices) and left us looking for somewhere else to eat afterwards. Noted that Hotelletsbookhotel.com sometimes would be reluctant to show very critical comments about hotels though we try to be fair for the hotels and those would be customer! The only problem in this hotel was the cold room at night. The front desk staff were indifferent and almost desultory. Breakfast was adequate, but I felt as though I were being grudgingly served in a rudimentary buffet/chow line style. Internet doesn't work in the room I was, they don´t have a pc available for guest staff it's ok, but so much to learn about service. Very disappointed. We arrived with reservation at 9pm and hotel refused us claiming they dont have it in system and that hotel is full. They gave us some number to csll, which spoke only arabic. Only after threatening to make a big deal out of this with letsbookhotel.com, we were given room n. 13, the worst, smelliest and filthiest one with broken chairs, loud ac and windo to the hallway (which was noisy) Attitude of personell below zero..
