For those of you that found Eden Andalou Hotel & Resort not satisfactory, I would like to say that it is as good as it possibly can get in Marrakech. It is clean, rooms are spacious, there are several bars and restaurants and the service is GOOD! Be aware that it is located a 15 minute drive away from the city in the countryside, but the hotel offers free shuttle bus for guests to and from the city from the morning until 8.30 PM.

Having heating in the room was very welcome as it dropped to 10 degrees when we were there. - The rooms are very big and comfortable - it's a fantastic location with a terrific view of the atlas mountains if it's not too hot - it's outside of the city center so it's nice and quiet - easy to drive to the city center - very close to the airport. The staff were very, very friendly, the pool area was first class, the rooms were clean and spacious (massive!) the free shuttle bus to the medina was reliable and easy to book. The hotel could, with luck, reduce the number of speakers in the grounds to secure a few non-music spots for those of us that like tranquility. It did not pose a big problem, though. Could do with heating the pools a bit more this time of year, food choice could get a little repetitive but standard was good. - The wifi is very weak throughout the hotel, it needs a major upgrade. - the hotel charges a lot for an airport shuttle, the equivalent of 18 euro's. a local taxi would probably do it for 3 euro's. The alcohol for non-all inclusive was rather expensive as is everywhere in Marrakech. Some cocktails are not included into the "all inclusive" formula!. We were not given our all inclusive wristbands when we checked in, we were not given our towel vouchers & we were not told about the need to book tickets for the shuttle. All of these things we found out the hard way. The bar staff were slow and would seemingly give there attention to anything which meant they could avoid serving a customers. Often if a member of staff did not know an answer they ewouls say "I don't know" and walk away instead of directing us to someone who could help. Bad internet speed and wifi signal at rooms ,no mini bar or drinkable water at rooms , advance payment. Not 5 star service. Advertises shuttles into town but infrequent and drivers very rude. Charge a lot for shuttle airport then packed others in and dropped us outside the airport. Very little food options unless in all inclusive package. Shop inadequate and expensive. Children's beds actually sofas and very uncomfortable. Sttaff, staff, and staff, very rude and rigid especially at the reception. Lack of amenities in the rooms, empty mini bar, few towels and bath items. Many families. Went for all inclusive - food always the same. Only went there since we had issues with originally booked hotel. Was emergency solution would not have booked this otherwise. Gave us exactly two towels every day and only seemed to care to provide the minimum, which is a bit sad if you rate yourself with (admittedly local) 5 stars. very noisy, thousands of children running loose. The location was terrible as it said 4km away but the hotel was actually 10km away from the city The hotel also charges 100 dirhams deposit for towels Shuttle bus only ran till 8.30pm. reception and room service and facilites ! no iron , kettle, no night food for room service, deleyed room services. I hate the fact that I booked an all inclusive resort and had to pay for everything extra!!!! The name is misleading and just for that I will never go again! Only breakfast was included.... But worst of all you even have to pay for the use of gym and swimming pool!!!! Never had that in my life!!!!. Hotel is overpriced!!!! It is not near 5* as advertised!!! Max 3*. Food is bad - choice of food is awfull - like on a ferry for lory drivers!!! All inclusive choice is very very poor!!! Been to riu 5* hotel the same week - it was fantastic!!! Nothing to compare with Aden Andalue!!!. This hotel is definitely not a 5 star! The breakfast is poor. The hotel is at 15 minutes from downtown. There is a shuttle bus but the last is at 8.30 p.m The hotel did not accept the credit card (for a mysterious connection problem...) forcing me to pay in cash.

Two A la Carte restaurants are also available vary the pleasures. One can enjoy refined Mediterranean cuisine at La Toque (seasonal). Learn about the mysteries of the cuisine from Fez, the most sophisticated Moroccan food at the "Le Fes" restaurant set in a traditional decoration with delicate stucco, coloured glass windows, zelliges (mosaic) and an Arabian-Andalusia orchestra. Before dinner, the "Bar du Soleil" is the ideal spot for a romantic drink overlooking either the Atlas mountains or Marrakesh and the Koutoubia mosque.
