Breakfast is served on the terrace and Moroccan meals can be prepared upon request. Guests can relax in the hostel’s garden with a cup of mint tea. The Dar Tighoula staff also offer airport transfers, mountain tours and organized trekking trips in the Atlas Mountains. There is also free Wi-Fi access in public areas and a hammam.

Everything ! My taxi dropped me in the village and Ahmed came and picked me up to take me to the Riad. He and his family and staff provided a memorable stay. They all do there utmost to ensure that your time there is as enjoyable as possible, whether it is providing mint tea, coffee, bottles of water on request for no extra charge or giving help and advice about the local area, walks, places to visit. The food is prepared fresh every day and, in six days, I had a different evening meal every da.
all reviews » I do travel quiet a lot and this is the first time I come accross something of this kind. It is really unusual place, the location is perfect on the top of the Atlas mountains, the people are so friendly and the stuffs make you feel like you are home. The food is amazing so rich of flavours, and so delicious. the first place where guests gather together as one single family and eat together and do their activities together too. There is so much to do, like horse hicking, visiting the local mark. We arrived very late and in the dark we didn't see the amazing roof terrace until I stumbled outside in the morning. Breakfasts were huge, with bread or pancakes (or both!) and various spreads, and evening meals were some of the best we had in Morocco. The whole family were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The location is beautiful and well situated for hikes in the mountain. Great value for money. The location was amazing, peaceful and regenerating. Our room had a big balcony from which you could see the mountains. The view from the terrace was stunning as well. Incredible value for what we spent for the room and the rich breakfast. Moreover we spent 70 dirham per person for an unforgettable dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. Family Owned Hotel The Host/Manager was very friendly, helpful and speaks excellent English. It's the first time since I travel that I make a review. If I decide to do it today it's because this guest house/hotel is amazing. All staff are friendly and you feel at your home. We were all wet after descending in the snow and rain from the refuge all day. They brought us hot tea immediately and put on fire and radiator for us. Although the facilities are fair but consider it's in the mountains so it's OK. We were given a friendly welcome, and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing five nights here in the beautiful valley above Imlil whilst walking in the Atlas mountains. The owner did his utmost to help us smnjoy our stay and make things easier for us. This place was basic but so friendly and such a great spot that we were truly charmed. Others staying there found it too inconvenient but I think if you understand it's budget and the staff are super keen to help, you won't be disappointed. The friendliness of staff was amazing. Ahmed went out of his way sorting out an extra sleeping bag for us for no extra charge, arranged a taxi and was generally the most genuine Moroccan (Berber) we've come across!!. Our room was large with beautiful views, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. The food was good & the views over the valley from the roof terrace were excellent. Great camaraderie with the other trekkers. Hotel in the mountains. When we left. No dislikes at all. The distance of the hotel from the Imlil town is 10mins walk. The room and toilet needs abit of refurbishing, which the owner said they be doing it soon. Rooms are good size but cold and due to less day light entering it was dark. There were alot of Flies and wasps on the terraces during the morning/afternoon time. Hot water was a bit hit and miss!. Nothing. do not expect too much luxary, it is a bit rustic, the bath in our room was not secluded whatsoever from the remaining rooms; but all a stay is fully recommendable; it is what you would expect from a stay in the mountains. Lack of hot water early in the morning makes timing of showers a lottery. On arrival, no room was left for us. But, we were given good rooms at the next place, which seemed to be one grade higher. However, the heating worked only for one hour and was discontinued at 8.30 pm for all rooms. young male (staff?). The room was cold and the shower needed a good clean. Loo a bit wobbly, bathroom small. It was cold at night in the hostel. kambarys, kuriame nakvojome, buvo remonto stadijoje. Buvo šalta, langai neužsidarė. Naktį dingo elektra, taip pat nebuvo šilto vandens. Filthy bed, hard to find, terrible decor, tatty, 1 communual hand basin, missing glass in the window, average food. No on site parking as listed. Werent given the room we booked. Basically a very crummy place clearly trying to jump on the tourist wagon and make a quick buck. I cant believe other travellers rated this so highly...its not a pleasant place to stay.
