The most beautiful Riad we have ever stayed in. Right in the heart of the Medina. The pool will be a great benefit in the hot months. Our motorcycle was safe and watched all night. A perfect place for a honeymoon if you got one of their fabulous suites on the 1st or 2nd floor. Very good breakfast. The room was amazing!! Was everything really clean. That is a wonderful terrace in the roof with a great view. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The whole area of the hotel is amazingly beautiful. Recommended.
all reviews » Staff are just great, they are very friendly, hrlpful and welcoming, perfect location close to madina and at the same time away from it's noise, good breakfast, great dinner if you wanted to try typical moroccon food. Lovely Riad at the start of the Medina, close to both the Blue Gate with a parking lot at a minute walking distance. They're based in that part of the medina where you still know where you are. Very nice hotel - seemed like staying in a family home. The staff could not have been more helpful -they arranged a car for us to go to Volubilis. We also liked the loungers on the roof. The staff were great and it was very clean and very quiet. we got the big suite on the roof and it was a great value for money!. Facilities,ambience, staff very helpful esp Muhammed food great,esp the dinner. staff were amazing throughout my stay also very welcoming & helpful. best room we had In Morocco. (+)The Riad: breath-taking Riad, wonderfully decorated with Moroccan designs. (+)The rooms: the authentic Moroccan architecture is preserved. Authentic, chic and elegant. (+) The patisserie: the Riad has a great cook who prepares excellent Moroccan cookies. Beautiful hotel. Clean and nice interior. To get to our room on the terrace it was up a lot of stairs, but we are in our 60's. So even this was not bad. It is not soo close to the entrance of the Medina. But the manager will help you taking you there and once you know the way everything is very easy!. Make sure you have good directions if you come by taxi because they'll drop you off at the roundabout five minutes from the Riad. Also, the Hamman was not operational when we were there. It was a bit of a climb to the top floor!. The riad was so clean and quiet that it wasn't very comfortable to hang out in the public area... some of the other rooms we saw were small. -no wifi in room -breakfast. (-)The location: make sure someone from the reception or a trustworthy person guides you to the Riad. You will not be able to find it on your own. It doesn't seem very safe at night. (-) The services mentioned on their profile are not always available. The swimming pool was empty and the hammam was out of service. (-) Expect a French style breakfast: classy but not generous. No breakfast menu and no breakfast to speak of. inadequately staffed - the new manager had been there only 4 days. the hotel recommended a restaurant which had two menus with two price cards. they escorted us to the restaurant. the pricing we got was double the price that we had paid on an earlier occasion, so we refused .... and then got the correct pricing!!. The staff was not very cooperative or accommodating, although the owner was nice. They were pushing their own tour guide and driver, and at the end, they were a bit abrasive during the check out process. Overall the unprofessional staff was a bit jarring, when we checked in and checked out.
