I have stayed in a dozen riads (and more than a dozen hotels) throughout
Morocco and I can say unequivocally that I have not stayed anywhere with
better service than the Dar Fes Medina. I was really impressed with the
owner, who spent a lot of time with us telling us about the riad and
helping us to arrange sightseeing and restaurants during our stay in
Fes. The woman who works at the front desk is equally friendly, helpful,
and welcoming. Both speak English excellently. The riad itself is quit. all reviews »
The staff is very friendly and always happy to help or advise when needed. Very clean rooms and a very nice roof terras! Tea and cookies always for free. You can park your car close to the Riad. Close to the medina; all highlights are within walking distance. A recommended Riad!.
I loved the staff! The owner, Mohammed, was lovely. So kind and accomodating and friendly, sitting to chat with us over a glass of tea. And the homemade cookies that came along with that tea were delicious!.
Staff were excellent as we're the facilities. Great value for money. Fantastic location. Really enjoyed the complimentary mint tea and biscuits whenever we wanted them.
Our host Mohammed was knowledgeable and friendly. We ate dinner there one night and it was delicious! Breakfast was also tasty. Rooms were large and comfortable.

My only negative is that the riad is a little bit of a walk from the
main part of the medina - only about a 15 minute walk to Bab Boujeloud,
but when going back and forth during the day it feels a little long. The
flipside to this is that the area is much cleaner and quieter than other
parts, so I think it's worth it.
Not a lot of restaurants near by (within 250 meter), so you need a little walk.
Need better toiletries.
Wifi connection problem.
